That's ok. I play to win, not sneak into the money. I'm not going to sit there and let the antes and blinds reduce my stack to nothingness and I am reduced to playing card contingent poker.

Freak had limped from the sb every single time, with hands like 64o, etc. Never gave me a walk. I was shoving on him with any reasonable hand (J8o in this case) before my stack got to the size where it had zero fold equity. He limped with A9s and decided that calling off a third of his stack was ok here as a 3:2 fav, figuring that I could easily be pushing with a weaker ace perhaps. Personally, I hate the play, since if you are willing to call a shove, why not just raise yourself?

Anyway, I kept running into big hands the entire game, and you just can't outplay someone who has the nuts. I don't remember a more consistently card dead tournament for me, and yet I made the final table. If I had had one of those bigger stacks like the 11k one everyone would have been playing for second place. You can bet that I wouldn't be sitting there with it, waiting for the bubble to burst.

My first CC tournament. Really enjoyed it, was a tough tournament, not the donk fest you usually get for $5

I played like a donk though. Was up against it from the first big hand I had quite early. Re raised someone who's name I can't remember now sorry. He called, flop came down with a King on it, and I foolishly bet out. Got re raised and had to fold.

Then When I had AK suited, I got Called, was left with about 700 chips the pot was big, and he put me all in on a board of something like q22. I called thinking I was almost crippled if I folded, and was in a decent postion if I won. He had QJ game over.

Was nice and friendly at the tables, and was nice to speak to some of the regulars on here. Will be playing again next time all being well.

Was waiting for the whining to begin........

I knew you were going to shove and figured if I raised you might have some sense and fold (which I didn't want) so my limp was exactly what I wanted to do. Of course you shoved....... but then again you were calling with middle and third pair against me all day........ sorry you couldn't win on reputation alone today......go make a HA post. See you next week.

You "knew I was going to shove"? Give me a break . And your evidence was...? That I had checked every other time? Also, A9s really isn't strong enough to slowplay-- I mean you got the money in by calling as a "monster" 3:2 fav, congrats. I wasn't whining, btw, weak play like this is really the reason that I win so many of these tournaments . See you next week for sure !

Come on AG we all know you are good. Save the drama for next week and stick it to everyone in the game. Good Luck and one of these days I might make that game to give you all a run for your money. Until then I will be in the $ 20 sit n gos. Best of luck!!!!
