NOBLE...SATURDAY...4 PM ET!!!!!!

As of this post on Friday morning, there are 6 players registered in the Saturday $5 NLHE tourney at Noble Poker. SIX! Perhaps there will be a flood of responses on Friday night and Saturday morning. I sure hope so. The minimum number required to conduct the tournament has been dropped to 3 players, to ensure that the tournament is not scratched. Anteing up five bucks for a shot at a piece of a $30 prize pool is not exactly going to lock down my Saturday afternoons going forward.

If anyone is under the impression that the password for this tournament will not be released until the normal 1-to-4 hours before start time, GOOD NEWS! The real money password has actually been up for a few days. You can go RIGHT NOW and retrieve the password, then head on over to Noble and register.

I'm going to keep a good thought on this, but it may be time to face some realities. Greg's poll asking for opinions on the best start time for the Noble Saturday real money tournament has been up for a week and has elicited about 20 responses. Grumbledook's original poll asking about interest in real money tournaments drew a relatively weak response, when compared with the total membership. It may be time to seriously consider a.) whether there is enough legitimate interest in real money events to continue investing the effort, and b.) if so, whether Saturdays are the best day to run them.

In the meantime, I will once more encourage EVERYONE who is able to play in this week's $5 tournament at Noble to sign up TODAY!! At the very least, it will be a vote of support for Nick and crew to continue exploring the concept of real money tournament play at Cardschat. See you at the tables tomorrow!

I think the problem a lot of ppl might have, me included, is that we have no money in our Noble Accounts.

I have never deposited with Noble and am seriously concerned that, if I do deposit, will I ever be able to cash out any winnings? If I pay by credit card then surely they can just debit my card but I am not so sure.

I would play no problem if the issues regarding cashing in/out were sorted so that they was understandable to everyone, instead of hiding little things in terms and conditions, and this includes any deposit bonuses.

I have not yet accumulated enough winnings to justify a cash-out, so I can't speak to the ease or timeframe which that involves. I know Nick and Grumbledook have made what I would consider to be sizeable investments on Noble Poker. Perhaps you could private message one of them to get the lowdown? Or maybe someone would like to respond here regarding their own Noble cashout experiences?

Well I did, can't say Nick has, he can't play his way out of a wet paper bag.

To cash out I had to send copies of my ID and the card I deposited with. Simply took a photo and emailed it over. I recieved a cheque a short while later.

I blieve you can cash out to neteller as well, though I don't have an account with them but there are various means. You can't cash back out to a credit card though due to the credit card companies.

I have had to do this on a couple of other sites before, its no big deal really.

Noble has one of the lowest deposit acceptances of the poker world. You can made a deposit of only $20 and it is so easy with NETeller. Most sites require a minimum $50 deposit.

And, as to withdrawals, I have NEVER had one problem withdrawing any money from Noble, or any other poker site, when I use my NETeller account. It's the only way to go if you're going to play real money poker.

I second the good doctor's opinion on NETeller. Getting your NETeller account set up takes a few days for the give-and-take between you, NETeller, and your bank to be completed, but once you're in, it makes depositing and withdrawing as easy as it gets. And, if you exercise patience by utilizing an online check vs. the InstaCash option to deposit funds into your NETeller account, you don't pay any service fees to NETeller. It takes a few business days for your deposit to clear, but you avoid a very stiff 8.9% service charge per transaction for instant access. And if self-control is an issue when it comes to the next poker deposit, you can do what I did last year...request that the InstaCash option on your NETeller account be disabled.

No way.

The only way I do transactions is via Western Union or cash transaction service that does not require my bank acct. and VERY RARELY will I use a CC. I work in the Finance/IT/Security industry and I am very aware of what is possible in that realm. I don't want to sound like a jerk but that is why I wil not use these companies. NetTeller is a firm I have done business with in the past and I respected them until a dispute arose and now I will not use them. So I am stuck with very little options available to me considering the time constraints etc... So, I probably will not play unless someone wants to do an acct.. to acct. transfer to my Noble acct. and I wil repay with a transfer back, (cause we already know I will be in the money, lol), or I will send to whoever wants to do this a certified check, money order, or personal check etc....

Rammer, if you do this, I will also include a weekend of SEC football of your choice of games here in Gainesville if you are willing to make the trip down. ANY GAME YOU WANT!!! you pick and I will host you to a AWESOME WEEKEND OF SEC FOOTBALL.... Including the FSU game if you so choose.

So its really up to you guys, I hope you trust me in doing what I say to pay you back whatever Noble's minimum tranfser is. But that is the only way I will play.

I agree with everyone on the NETeller account. Easy in, easy out. Took seconds to activate my account and make a deposit to it, as well as withdrawing from poker sites that use NETeller.

Cheers

Neteller has worked fine for me on Noble I have deposited and withdrawn with no hassle at all. It has a low minimum buy-in so there's no reason not to deposit and play...

Nope, Screw it, not worth the hassle....

You might all have a great time with Netteller, I hate them. Just plain and simple hate them. I just called their security division to again clear up the "issue" and I cn't get anything done with them. Worthless, just worthless. I finally remembered all the details as to why I don't use them anymore and I plain won't. They still have a few dollars of mine they won't release and it just makes me mad. Also, be very careful to make sure you put the right phone # into their files or it will stop you in your tracks. What a crock.

I think you have to add in c.) Don't have a real money account @ Noble. I made my first deposit there for the memorial day Tourney (that didn't play) Noble is not that new but it is not that popular either . I think the avrg player tends to stick to one or two sites for real $ play . I think that is why the most turnout for the paradice free roll. I don't have $ at paradice either but would deposit if we had real $ tourneys there. Mabe we should take a poll on that ? GL in the game today hope your cards are live and your pots monsers

No idea who NPR is.

But he or she played one heck of a good game. I had a good time, as always with this group. Looking forward to all upcoming events.

Oh yeah .... thanks for the kind words.

Hi its me, but I didn't know how to change the name to my kozlo6pack.
I signed up last week as well but it got cancelled. I am pretty new here, and very much enjoy reading all your advice about playing poker. I don't post too much, but I am on here a few times every day reading up on all the latest information. I had a great time. I have played in as many games here as I am able, I am usually one of the first ones out.

Thank you Dr Golf

I really enjoyed playing, you are a great player!!!

I have that particular NPR player quite frequently at the tables on Noble. Wish I knew who he was. Would have loved to make it but family commitments got in the way glad it went off though!

Well played Kozlo6Pack . I watched a fair potion of the touney with Nick and I must say the quality of play far surpassed that at our freeroll's (naturally) .

My highlight was watching Nick take out Rammer with KJ full house, and then going all in with pkt Jacks and being called by pkt Queens; crashing out in 12th.

It really was a great time, Nick. Thanks for setting the freerolls up, as always.

Oh ... and sorry that I had to be the one to take you out ... but Rammer slipped me an extra $5 to do it.

Guys,

I'm sorry that I can't play these real money tourneys right now. 1st of all haven't made a deposit at Noble and I don't have a bank account nor a Credit Card. 2nd of all DH spent all my winnings from our freerolls that I had won in my account on Pot limit tables over the course of a week or more. 3rdly I haven't won anything lately on Noble except the 1.88 from this past Sundays freeroll. Seems like the cards aren't copperating with me the past month or so. As soon as I get my balance up there again I will join in all the fun.

I have a NeTeller Account, and it works great! Although I haven't cashed out at Noble yet, I have used NeTeller to cash out at other sites, and you have your money very quickly (usually within a few days, wired right to your checking account if you so desire). Use the NeTeller link at the poker site, that way you shouldn't have to pay any fees involved with cashing out...although you may want to look into Noble's policy on this..as I've said, I haven't cashed out with them, but someone from Live Support should be able to help you and answer any of your questions--I've found them to be extremely helpful.

Plus, if you sign up for a NeTeller account, you can use InstaCASH; which you can set up to take funds directly out of your checking account, if you don't want to run up your credit card. You get your funds instantly just as if you used a credit card, but with the piece of mind that you aren't adding to your debt! lol

Just make sure to write down all numbers pertaining to your NeTeller account--there are three of them I believe; 1) Account #; 2) Secure ID; and 3) Password. If you have more than one email address, make sure to use the one that you signed up with at the poker site.

Good luck!

One more note on the tourney....sigh...alas, I haven't been able to play much real money tournaments lately...and I only have about $0.34 in my Noble account right now...(embarrassing)...lol. I am signed up for the $200 Freeroll right now, and, should I finish in the money, I will definitely be signing up (barring the miracle of child birth, that is ). I am getting quite restless since I am now four days overdue! lol.
