Yes. The standard of play in CC buyin tournaments is higher than you`ll find in anything else at a similar price.

Hmmm . . . I cashed out most of my Bodog BR in December, and what little I left there slowly vanished, one suck-out at a time. . . .

I always really liked playing the CC buy-ins there, but overall I really don't like the Bodog software anymore after getting re-acquainted with PokerStars and Carbon over the last couple of months; it seems clunky, fairly un-customizable, and - worst of all - quite "resource-hoggy" to me. . . .

Anyway, let's see if I can make my last five Bodog dollars count and build them into a $10 buy-in . . . in which case I'll definitely see ya'll there!!

personally, i find the small-stakes beginners tournaments to be a practically no-risk source of income for a small bankroll, despite the low reward that it brings too. just sayin'

too bad the buy-in is at a weird time for me.

boy, it always makes my eyes roll and goggle a bit when someone tears into a poker website for suckouts and then EXALTS pokerstars (pokerstars!!!) as a bastion of normalcy in the online poker world...all internet poker rooms are going to frustrate and destroy all that is innocent and joyful in you eventually with their abnormally high level of suckouts, monster hands, and darn near impossible situations (like 5+ players dealt pocket pairs 6+ times in a row OR just you getting PP after PP-fifteen is my personal record so far, anyone beat that?)
RNG is not truly random and probably can never be. since it is inherently flawed, patterns develop and erupts in a lot of the nonsense we have all seen (and bitch about endlessly to any poor schlub within range) and have grown to abhor.
personally, i just accept it as part of the admission to play from the comfort of my living room, and adjust my play accordingly. of course, this does not mean i do not have to regularly/daily quell the urge to see just how far my notebook can fly.

OMG 15 posts in order to be able to play in a $10 buy in game. I can see the point for a posting requirement needed to play freerolls and maybe even for small buy in games but that is crazy

Well, considering that there's a nice chunk of added money in the pool and it is - after all - a private tourney for active forum members, I don't think 15 quality posts is too much to ask. Anyone who's seriously interested in joining/using the forum and contributing should have no problem reaching that level in a matter of days, while it is an effective tool to keep the spammers and other riffraff out. Spend an hour or two on this forum, and you'll find it's well worth your time and effort. See you there next week?!

Surely it`s a tad odd to be a forum member and not post ?

OMFG What are you complaining about you have reached the required amount already, and as was stated It is a private tourney for ppl who post in the forum, not just for ppl to join and do nothing for the forum and Possibly win the added money.

OK, Bodog is one of my favorites. Guess I need to get busy around here. Think I'll help vacuum the place first before heading into the kitchen to do the dishes.

No problem for me from Michigan..of course we have Bodog (which I also use for horses), some other sites that accept Mi, are Poker Stars and Cake...I limit myself to those 3 sites at this time...otherwise it would drive me nutz to keep up with the new ones that pop up almost everyday...Now about quality posts///...I believe I used to have many more posts..but alas they went down the tubes..now I have to work my ass off trying to get in 20 quality posts so that I can get back into the cash and free games so that I can resume beating Billy The Bulls Ass....

Really ?

It really isnt that hard you know

btw - you don't need 20 posts, its 15 and thats only for the buy in games, the FRs should already be easy to see with 0

His resignation is irrelevant to the functioning of bodog. He was just a face for the company.
