****Number Monkey error****

Due to an error in the number monkeys department on Saturday - Pokerkat did not receive her 400 points for the Titan game and so is now up to 7797 points and 2nd place.

Now off to spank the monkey......i mean tell him off

It should be pointed out that the difference in the value of the blue points is due to a very sophisticated, and seemingly pretty damn fair choice of scoring systems based on buy- in amount, number of players , and finish position.

The closest thing to a scoring controversy is what sites will qualify. Bodog for instance doesn't allow Canadians, and unless I'm really wrong, Titan doesn't allow Americans. Discussions in the past have focused on counting tourneys from sites where many members could not play at.

Ian made an executive decision and chose the the system we are using now.

and also discussions on the fact alot of europeans miss out on 3 games a week unless they want to stay up till about 3 or 4am whereas americans miss out on 1 and canadians who cant play bodog, not sure if canadians can play titan or not.

So technically if as you say "Discussions in the past have focused on counting tourneys from sites where many members could not play at."

only games which should count are FT game on Saturday and Pokerstars game on Sunday

I notice that the games column appears to max out at 15. I had mentioned this before, and suggested then that the games column contain how many games played, but meant TOTAL qualifying games played.

So in my case I believe it might be 17 at this point. I think it would be more useful, as it is simple to see how many games anyone has played that qualify if it is less than the 15 games that will count.

Im sorry Mr DJ im not sure what exactley the last line is asking

As was stated earlier in the thread 15 games is the amount required to have been played if the player is to be included in the final round up.

I have now added a TGP (Total Games Played) so you can see how many games this quarter the player has played.

All i was saying was for all the games I could play 5 out of 8, sometimes 6 when Friday full tilt starts at 1130pm UK.

Think in Total there have been 26 although 2 cancelled so max of 24 and have played 15. Surprised Jay only played only 18 games

nothing on the aggrodonk comment ? lol . is it offensive ? I know it got to AG but still waiting on his full response it is a stab at your style or at least of how I perceive it but not at you or anyone as a person
I didn't make up the word and am not claiming to be using it correctly.

you and AG and many others are very aggressive players " bully's " IMO and it's just my way of talking trash back , obv a very lucrative style .

hope this doesn't stop AG from giving his opinion , I'm sure it was the irony of weaktightpassive clueless me commenting on someone Else's style that made him laugh .

Aggrodonk as far as im aware is the same as any donk pushes with anything and doesnt hold back.

I play aggressively at times and patient at othertimes otherwise you blind away, the only time you could class my style as aggrodonk is if I am shortstacked and would push with a wider range of cards to avoid being blinded away or called by anyone as they have pot odds even with hands like 27.

I would say my play is controlled aggression unless committed and hadnt commited to much to a pot I sometimes make great folds, better to make a great fold and survive for a better position than commit everything and get busted when you dont have a great hand.

PS what is your definition of an aggrodonk

kinda the same as yours , blind aggression , banging it big every other hand with a very wide range , willing to race for tourney life with a wide range , someone very easy to check raise or willing to bet big op with marginal hands or missed flops .

thats what I'm calling you when I say it but like I said it's just a stab at your aggressive style , not really how I think you play . I get my butt whipped and my only option is talk trash LAG would probably be the correct term for the ones I like to call aggrodonks .

now I've taken the sting out of it and thus my fun. also AG won't feel right now about eating my lunch and telling me off although he is still welcome to give his opinion

LOL, guess you dont watch the game closely enough. Blind Aggression, Banging it big every other hand and willing to race for tourney life with a wide range, maybe toward the end of games but near the start you have the wrong player. Only time I will go all in early is if confident i have at least 60/40 up to 70/30 and above .

I know a couple who do play like that and they either go out one of the first or finish high up

lol , you asked my definition of an aggrodonk I clearly stated I do not think you play that way
you are an aggressive player and as I said I enjoy falsely labeling all aggressive or LAGs as aggrodonks , the lag style kicks by butt and thats how I compensate .
