I'm encouraged

Was just on Noble (actually setting it up on my travelling laptop) and saw 2 new names registered for the Saturday buy-in event. With any kind of luck and a good turnout by the regulars we may finally get close to 2 full tables. I'm hoping our well rested admin staff can drop by as this may be the biggest event yet. We've had some great games with 6-8 people; however, it would be nice to eclipse the 20 mark. For all of you that can't yet participate, stop by and observe as you'll witness some pretty good poker play and a lot of interaction among the regulars. It's always a fun event and something I look forward to every week. I'll be in Atlanta again Saturday, but I'm getting my travel machine set up and ready. May put a cheap router at my daughter's house so we both can play...

I also would encourage any one who can not yet participate to come buy and watch . You will be suprized how much fun we have. To those who are playing for the first time , gld to have you , A newbie one it last week (one I invited stupid me) For those who have said to your self "I'm gona play that one of these weeks , this is one of those weeks .

One of these days I'm gonna be home on a Saturday....and give you guys some easy pickings !!

Played this one for the first time last Saturday and finished 12th (dead last! ) But I definitely had fun while it lasted. Don't know when I'll make the next one, but hopefully I will do a lot better than my debut attempt! lol Got to sit between IrishDave and his daughter, cheeba; a pleasure! I'm busy the next couple of Saturdays, but hopefully will make it back in a few weeks! (Still need to get over to the RVP tables too! dang it!)

yea i really think we need to change the $5 noble to another day...
most of us are people who actually go out on saturdays
and i think the game would have a much better turn out than it does now if it was on a weekday

While last week was a great turnout, as of an hour ago I was the only one registered. I know some of our regulars have posted that they can't be here this week but I sure hope we have enough to go. My daughter and I will be there...
