Apologies yet again for the n00b question, but what does props mean?

For example, I played in the CC Titan buy-in earlier this week, but I also had two freerolls and a cash table going at the same time. I wasn't aware that I was expected to give "props", and obviously I don't want people here to feel that I have been disrespectful or discourteous. I was under the impression that the people that had been knocked out before me had just left, but I could be wrong - I often am!

As Chris Tarrant likes to say quite often on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? "If you don't know, you don't know!" Thanks for giving out this friendly reminder, too

we just don't want to get in the habit of playing in the freerolls and money added games without thanking nick . contributing to cc by posting and being part of this forum is the best way to do that .

Hey Jay, thanks for posting this, having trouble with screenhunter, mainly I am technogically challanged, & missed getting this. Congrats to Cuban on the win & to NANUNANU on ITM, was quite a battle the last 5 or 6 players left & anyone could have talken it down.
