CardsChat RoShamBo tournament

Thats right! Im holding it. Send Mischman(gaiesville) $2 on PokerStars, when everyone wants to play signs up and pays. ill seed everyone and then PM everyone asking them to make their choice of Rock, Paper, scissors. Then we will keeo doing that until we have our winner.
1st gets 65% of pool.
2nd gets 35% of pool.

Normal Roshambo rules apply.

ANy questions sign up and send the money. It will get started when we have 16 players, or 8 if we cant get 16.

(yes this is serious)

GOL. LOL. MOL.

If you get near the amount of people to play, I'll play. Just out of sheer curiosity for how this might even come close to turning out.

To save time, I suggest you ask people to submit an ordered list of their moves (say ~5) for each match to avoid matches taking 5 years to complete if there are a few ties (and hence you have to request and wait for PMs multiple times for one match).

In other news, I can't believe I just made a serious suggestion regarding a forum roshambo donkament. Next thing you know I'll be playing in the bloody thing.

Yes Estelle - Roshambo is a word commonly used every day in my household. I wait anxiously each night for my husband's arrival so we can play it.

If this is simply a game of the old "paper, rock, scissors" thing then of course I know the rules. However I would hope if a poker site has added it as a game and decided to call it Roshambo that there might be a little more to it than that lol.

So somebody - please tell me that people aren't logging on to a poker site and playing the children's game of paper, rock scissors and having fun doing it. And that poker forums all over the world are not adding it to their tournament events lmao.

I feel like I am in the twilight zone.

Btw Misch I will probably play lol.

Listen, Phil Gordon puts on a Roshomboament at the WSOP, proceeds go to his cancer research foundation, a goood time is had by several, and Norman Chad has one more thing to be sardonic about. Dosn't get any better than that.

Here's a more fun version of the game:

I cast my large rock at mischman, knocking him square in the noggin (or somewhere more sensitive below -- I haven't decided yet), rendering him unconscious. I then take my scissors and give him a really bad haircut, making him the ridicule of his neighborhood. I then take the prize pool money and replace it with counterfeited paper money that I have had specially manufactured by my 3-year-old using her crayons and recycled newspaper.

I win the game and go back to playing poker.

And oh, yes, I will defend my championship with the same strategy again next year, Mischman.

When are we having this years 'I Spy' tourney?

Hopefully after last years controversial final (when the spied object was eaten by one of the finallists before it was called) order will be returned to proceedings

TBH, I don't think this is going to be scheduled until after the tic-tac-toe finals are completed.

You didn't use the word prude correctly in this sentence.

Prude = somebody who is easily offended by matters relating to sex or nudity.
