Bodog buy-in 10/26

Hello Y'all, I would like to play in the Bodog buy in event today Friday, 10/26.
I am a fair weather poster and I have been busy as a bee. I am assuming that if I cant see the password, I am not yet worthy. Is there a trick to posting? maybe a time delay? Thanks, Sincerly, MooseLee

You should be able to see the Password Forum. The requirement for buy-in games is 15 quality posts. You're sitting at 33, so not sure what the problem is. Go back on the main page and look in the "Our Events" section. You should see a forum in there called "Cardschat.com Passwords". That's where the buy-in password is.

Let us know if you can't find it.

I have got 16 posts, I went to section that was recommended in this thread and I still cannot see the password option. Cansomeone help, I would like to play tonight also.

Wait a second, now it is saying that I only have 13 posts. What is the deal, I had 13 posts and I went in today and answered some questions and made some other replies, yet I only have 13 posts still. Am I missing something?

Ok, so now it is saying that I have 14 posts, and apparently all i will have to do is post one more time to be eligible for the tourney tonight? I hope that that is true. Are there minimum numbers of characters for a post to be considered a quality post?

The goal is not 15 posts simply to get 15 posts. We look for some level of quality in new members posts. Slamming in a bunch of post (say for example three consecutive ones to get past the the 15 post count requirement is not allowed and it is against the forum rules. If you have posts disappearing it is either because of quality levels ("congrats", "good luck" or other things of non-quality) or because they were posts in threads that were deleted for some reason.

Finally, once you do hit the 15 post count requirement, it takes around an hour for the password forum to show up.

Thanks for understanding. We use this policy to weed out those that just post to post vs those that plan to contribute and get something out of their membership here. You sound like the latter, so welcome aboard. Look forward to seeing you in our games.

Time lag after the post requirement

JD, you said that is usually takes a little while for the buy-in game passwords to show up. Is there ever any exception made to this? I would really like to play in tonghts $10 buy in on bodog.

Well, we don't do pardons for passwords, but you should have no issue getting up to 15 QUALITY posts by next Friday's game. See you there.

I played so badly in this one. I almost unregistered before the start, I was tired and didn't want to concentrate (and I didn't). Basically played two hand, AT and QQ, both badly passive on the wrong streets. Oh well, hope the new players come back though .
