good game all

This was my first time playing in a CC real money event.....I couldn't be any happier with the result, obviously!
I thought AnnoDomino was going to come back and beat me after we got to heads up and when we both went all in...me with JJ and Anno with 10 10....and a 10 came on the river. Ugg! I groaned, watching as my huge chip lead turned into a near even battle. But, good fortune smiled on me and I ended up with the victory.
I've been taking a poker hiatus for a while, and just now getting back into some regular play again. Although I haven't previously posted a lot, I really enjoy reading the posts...and will chime in from time to time now that I'm back playing again.
I look forward to playing more CC money events (I don't have the patience for the freerolls :-).... the players were all good sports and played really solid.
Thanks to CC, congrats to Anno and the other players who finished in the money.......and good game to all!!

Nice job on the win. Anno is a tough opponent (as are most of our members). Good to hear you'll be around a bit more.

Congrats Anno . . . it was a fun tourney and although it's always tough to go out in 3rd (I forget what happened exactly . . .), both you and bass/trackR were worthy opponents and I enjoyed battling for the top with you two. I'll try to make as many of these as I can -- looking forward to the next one, and maybe a win?!!

(By the way, I just missed the freeroll that's going on right now . . . grrr . . . but I also like the buy-in events better, anyway.) Great job with these events, CC -- keep 'em coming!!
