Suited connectors, suited spacers. They're just so much fun to play. Who doesn't love stacking off with a strong draw, or raising with mid-pair on the button?

I'd have to say QQ also, you can get raised off the hand when there's two or 3 people in already even though it's quite possible that you have the best hand.

I'd have to say Q9 because that's my favorite starting hand. QQ is a loser for me more often that any other combination of cards. I really hate QQ as a starting hand, even if the flop is lower cards. It may be an exageration, but it seems that there is an A or K on the flop about 80% of the time when I get QQ, and that makes me nervous. However, starting with Q9, I don't have that same sense of dread.

KK

Queens are easy, Aces you have the best but Kings - is your oppo getting aggressive with AK or a small PP or does he really have AA.

Depending on the raise etc (player type, stack size...) i might call him to see a flop (King, King, King ) at least i would then know better what my chances are or where i am in the hand.

It says what hand do you dread to throw in, not what hand do you dread to throw in when you should. I said I'd never throw in AA preflop. I understand what he meant though

Same here... anything else is easy to muck. OK..KK isn't as easy but I have managed to do so only to see someone else with AA take down the hand.

Bigger factor is how villian plays, if he's one of those overbetting donk's then I'll play down to QQ if it feels right, sometimes JJ. I am refering to a heavily overbet preflop by an obnoxious donk of course. "Defencive Poker"

there is a right way to play jacks. it is to ensure that the flop will come with two more. unfortunately, i still haven't quite mastered that ability.

The Force slipping a bit!

Funnily enough I hate folding A 10. Must be psychological as it always seem to hit when I fold (and miss if i stay in ).

KK is the absolute worst though!!!!!

JJ is my downfall, even if I call a reraise & flop is under my pair I still find a way to lose with them. I'm beginning to think I'd come out ahead if I just folded them as soon as I got them

I hate laying KK, you know your beat though when an ace gets flopped. I had to fold Pocket aces once with and ace on the flop....three spades and the turn was a spade. Sometimes I wish 3 of a kind was higher then a flush and a str8 you see those hands alot more than you see 3 of a kind.

The best hand after the flop...

Like if you were to flop a set in Omaha, or even in hold em...when there are flush and straight draws and there are 2 guys all in and you have the set...you can get good odds to call, but you are going to end up losing more than half of the time with 2 other people in the pot and the draws available...that's a hard one to fold...too hard I think... ;-)
