what am i missing here?

i try to sign up to bodog to play in the CC freerolls there and am told that canadians cannot sign up. what gives? and just because i'm wondering, if CC is a global community, then why host freerolls at a site where people can't sign up to play?

We also have freerolls that "us" US players can't play so it evens out.

They have a monthly freeroll, and a weekly buyin at Titan, and aleague at Costa Del Poker, and we American scofflaws can't play. This is an equal non-opporunity community.

Bodog have their servers in Kanawake just outside Montreal.
I am guessing they have somekind of agreement with the Canadian authorities that they will be left alone provided they don't sign-up Canadian residents
