Actually, that is pretty much exactly what we do. If it gets into the last hour and the mods have not put the password up, a loyaler will post it if they can.

I gather Trent`s Mom tried this time. However, the level of traffic and general hysteria in the run up to a freeroll can prevent us from posting.

Hey guys, please let me know....
I was logged in the forum, waiting for the password release...
At a certain moment, forum server was too busy, all we know....
But i was able to see the new password, i think...
It was "krazykat1" ? If it was, why it says me, while registering, "wrong tournament password"?
Thanks for your answers....

I am not sure why certain people are complaining about freeroll password, it's a freeroll for God's sake, and they giving you for free to play, so stop complaining and just wait like everyone else.
If you don't play this time, you may be lucky to play next time and with some lady luck on shoulder winn some $$$$.
Let's have phun, not be angre.

Personally, I think it's more a reflection of their collective education level.

The password you saw was the password for the freeroll 1 week ago.
The old password stays in the thread until a mod edits the thread with the new password.

Glad to be of help

You won't be able to get into the buy-in tournament until you have 15 quality posts on Cardschat.

You should easily get into the freeroll today. The password has been out there for almost 3 hours now.

Iwas in a freeroll at time to get pokerstars password an was watching for registration an only 11 to 13 players had signed up with only 20 minutes till start. so i sitout an was trying to get in position to get password an play. so i kept sitting out wasting blinds looking then tried to make a post an server was busy so was tring to search an play at same time an when i pushed go to look table flashed right where go was an i pushed my chips in an lost out of a tourney then been on tilt ever since. kinda funny how my bet button was right where go was. still i don't understand why password can't be put out in plenty of time to get set up i'm not worried about a sitout. you can't sitout an take my chips.so whatever i can't see no excuss for that problem. maybe it's just me but i feel i wasted my time.

I just want to say that I appreciate very much these freerolls. They are alot of fun. Personally, I very much enjoy winning $5 and seeing how high I can run it up. I won $25 in a freeroll maybe 3 years ago and when it was all said and done, I ended up withdrawing about $3k over the course of the 3 years.

In case you haven't noticed, you probably have someone sharing the password elsewhere on the net. Somebody posted the password here at maybe 1:20. There were only a few page views in that thread before the tourney started, yet the entry went from 14 to 150 in the 10 minutes between then and the tourney start.

In any case, thanks again for having these. Please don't stop.

That's probably because the mods and loyalers where doing their best to get the password to as many people as possible. The only reason I got in was because TB pm'ed me on msn, I wasn't even planning on playing (forgot as always ) until 5 mins before the start.

It's not the point of the server..its the fact that spending the time on this site waiting to only find that cardschat didnt uphold their end is frustrating.

I enjoy playing poker. I am a very well manored lady....but my time was wasted and its not the servers fault..its the fault of whomever is suppose to post the password 1-4 hours prior to start. If the password was emailed to those of us that have been around awhile then server overloading would never be an issue.

I've never griped before...I'm just frustrated..as well as you can understand, bc I'm sure you're just as frustrated as we are for these posts.

Good luck to those of you that got in the freeroll during the server crash...
OMG, frustration because you couldn't recieve a free handout?

someone who has the gift of gab should write out a just in case thread that can be stickied in the freeroll section, so all the little freerollers will know not to flood the server with constand refreshes.

As for the freeroll, like BadJack said "shit happens".

Mr.Toymaker, the problem with the Brazilians (most anyways) is that they have a network set up where one or two belong to a forum and then they mass mail the password out or in many cases they post it in another forum. An example of one is rebirth_poker.com. A french poker forum that has no shame and allows posts offering passwords from any private freeroll their posters can get their hands on.

I was just recently made aware of the site by a friend at another forum who did investigating due to crashers.Since then I regularly check it to see who is posting what forums password's and pass this info onto the forums admins hoping they can eliminate another scumbag from PW access.

Actually thinking of starting a campaign to flood the french site with pissed off mail from real forum members from numerous sites and possibly causing too much shit that the site will end the practice.

On the lighter side of life, hope to see you all in next weeks freeroll. Or almost all LOL. Good luck to E1.

I'll add that site to our list of ones that we watch. The sad thing is, for each site that we find, there's a ton more out there that we don't know about. But! We keep investigating and axing people as we come across them.

Thank you for taking my posts seriously. I am grateful to this site and all that I gained from it. Freerolls are the frosting, the cake was all the stratagy articles that are helping me play poker. As far as a few members who said things like you have 'nt post since last week. That I was whining and bitching. Not true I was mad to miss the freeroll but way way more concerned about it being corrupted by outsiders. As for as posting, I will try to particpate much more. I played in the FT one sunday and was knocked out early. Card chat is a great place to improve your skills.

But...But...But what about my mouse finger!

I also gotta get another mouse it broke and my finger is now swollen from clicking the refresh button every 1.85 seconds!

And I still could not get into the freeroll!

Even if I was not home, I should be entred in the freeroll anyway!

--The #1 cause of server over load is mmost likely THE REFRESH BUTTON!! Just relax and lay off the refresh button, it's a freeroll, you have nothing lost (like $50+$5) just because the password didn't get posted because the refresh page request were coming faster than all-ins at a donkfest.

Chill, relax, enjoy, it cost you nothing to begin with, you were here anyway (If for no other reason than to see what kind of nonsensical reply I thought of so far), read a few posts, check the password, read a few more of my musings, check the password, get a beverage, check the password, get it, got it, good....see no need to slam the server with refresh page request.

Ciao for now, see you all at the next donkafest.
