Don't worry about it AFAIK you're still a kick-ass mod

However I do blame you for bubbling out in 20th when only top 18 pay .

Actually, this was the best (cc)freeroll I ever played. It was awesome only playing with 153 people
and all the regs I got to know better on the table (see screenshot above).
Although there is a downside cause chiefer made me bubble .

GG everyone and hopefully we can do this again sometime!
Keeping fingers crossed for the next server crash ^,^

Complaints from people whose only posts are complaints, not interested.

Is it just me or does there seem to be a correlation between how much people participate on the site and how pissed off they are and how much they feel that these freerolls are their God-given right? I have yet to see a poster that I recognize (not just ones who have made a ton of posts, I read the forums pretty frequently, and I'd remember the ones who are new and have made a few decent posts) whining about the freeroll and how their god-given freeroll right was taken away. So basically the ones "upholding their end of the bargain" by posting are the ones not complaining about cardschat "not upholding their end of the bargain". The ones complaining about the freerolls are the ones who haven't really participated in the site anyway.

You didn't get something that was given away for free this one time, oh no. Go check your railbirds pm for that password. Oops did I say that? Anyway, you have a choice. If this angers you so much that you want to leave, then just leave. If you're willing to stick it out (and really do absolutely nothing) knowing that this may happen once in a while, then you can deal with it. It seems most of the more active members newer members are fine with it and it's only the people who contribute absolutely nothing that are complaining. Anyway I can't believe I wasted that much time writing this.

Me I'm ok with missing the free roll tommorow is another one. For me it wasnt a complaint with card chat forum it was I believe it was a blaint scam by nonmembers ( I believe ) to freeze the forum and narrow the field. I was just trying to point out that its a scam by some outside people. If you dont fix or address the possiblity it MIGHT Happen again and you might be one to miss a free roll. Or they might invade one of the cash games

Well I see where your concern is - but they don't have that much control on their own. It took hundreds of misc people hanging out in the freeroll password forum hitting refresh every few seconds to jam up the forum.

Fortunately this is a rare event - 95% of the time the password will be released early enough to avoid the possiblity of that happening.

When it does happen that it is released and there is not much time left - the worst thing all of you can do is what was done today. (not you personally).

Couldn't help but chuckle at this one =]

It's so true tho, again today I saw another one of those ugly purple things on my starting table. Usually it's a lot more of them pesky little creatures in the PS 'roll right, or so I'm told. Could be you just don't spot them as easy in the FT 'roll.

Well I guess they were as hold by our timely crash as the cc'ers were..

I'm not sure if this will help the technical people deduce what happened today but FYI - When I attempted to log in, it appeared that I had logged in on other members accounts. I could tell because others names were where mine is normally.

It's not possible this was caused by having accidentally entered another's password because mine is automatically entered by the browser and it is a made-up word unlikely to be anyone else's.

Life's full of little coincidences, somebody mentions railbirds and suddenly an alumni marketing director that hasn't posted for weeks mysteriously appears. The phenomenon of logging in with somebody else's account has been mentioned before in the past, but I can't be bothered to look up the link at the moment, sorry.

It is just a temporary picture of another member's front page. You are really logged in as yourself and when you attempt to click on anything it will revert back to your page.

A glitch that can't be fixed so far.

Grow up!

I have to laugh at all the complaints about the freeroll mishap, I am guessing that if you look at the complainers they probably do not have 30 posts about anything combined. Grow up and appreciate the free site and advice you can get here. The site is excellent and still batting 98%, thanks for giving your time to run this site to all involved it is appreciated by most of us, and the rest can kiss my ass! Those who complain the most contribute the least in my 44 years of life experience!

One of the advantages of working a 5-days-out-of-7 rota is that I am usually working at weekends.

As MANAMAL said, kudos to Nick and the mods for running such a great site, thanks peeps!

Myself, I was just disappointed. I usually forget about them, but remembered about an 1.5 hours before hand, so was going to make it today. Then that happened, I made a comment here, but if I had waited until now it would had been all cool.

It was actually better for me to not had played, as I would not had played on a different site, won more than top prize here while qualifying for 1k and $500 tourneys with small fields. So thanks, truly thanks, and I was a idiot for the other post I made. Sorry about that.

Maybe I will remember the one tomorrow, but at the same time I got other tourney's to tend to so might just be best if I forget lol.
