If you take time to read posts in a forum instead of just password searches, you'd find this question asked and replied to earlier, several times.

It's a special event, not open to all members. More info? Read the forum threads, pleeezzzz.....

It's a private, invitation only freeroll reserved for the winning team and the individual event winners of the 2008 Team Event that just concluded.

Thanks nevadanick...I actually did see the one that pantin007 wrote today, but it just wasn't clear to me that it was referencing todays PokerStars Tourney.

I think this site does the best job out there and I really enjoy the broader aspects of discussion and topics this site offers!

Great job to all who organize and orchestrate Cardschat!

WTF? Entry to this freeroll had to be won. If you didn't win entry, you don't get in. Happens all the time in online poker. What's to be confused about?

Just because it is called a Cardschat freeroll it does not mean that everybody and their brother can play in it.

All you need to do is check the calendar and appropriate forums for our events. If you can not find it then it must not be public.

There is one thing here you can always count on - and that is that we will never ever give you one of our passwords when you come to our tables and ask for it. So please don't do that in the future.

Well, I'm not sure how the listings work, maybe a mod can explain it to you. They may have no control of how it appears. And as far as CC treating their members...I think they do a fine job "treating" members to freerolls. And no this doesn't happen that often.

One last note - CC is a free forum, open to all. This being said, threads are available for any member to read. Shame on CC for *assuming* that the member will take time to read the threads, especially the ones re: the private freeroll for team event winners.

Snowball just look at the calender page, it will show you all of the events that you can take part in. Although you will need to reach 15 posts before you can join in the buy-in events.

Okay - welcome to Cardschat. Read this:

http://www.cardschat.com/f48/importa...rmation-87805/

and then look in here:

Rules & FAQ

As far as events go - we have a lot of different types of events. We have regular freerolls which are open to every member. You can find these on the calendar and in the freeroll section.

We have regular buy-ins that require 15 quality posts. They can be found on the calendar and in the real money tournament forum.

We have special events - you can find details on these in the special events section. This particular freeroll was part of a special event.

In order to know everything you will need to review all of the sections.

If you can't find a password assume it is not a tournament you can participate in.
