OFC Ultimate bet

Ok gals and girls. Its time to show off how good we can be here at cards chat. I've been around to the other forums, I think there is no other forum that can hold a candle to the people/players of this forum. I think We really need to step up in these tourneys for the ofc/ultamate bet. I think we might be able to even have a final table of cards chat players. Most of us really know the game, and try to play by OUR rules. By that I mean good playing. People here really take a lot of time and spill their hearts about how to play in tourneys, what to do what not to do. And I for one appreciate that soo much and really think it helps my play 100%. I hav'nt been here long and I believe this forum has trippled my skill. SOO lets bring one home for nick. I believe in all of you that I have played with and I think everyone here has the ability to make a final table in a free roll or buy in. So good luck and Play hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UltimateBetUltimate Bet are one of the older poker sites on the internet with a great range of games to play and a 111% poker bonus with the bonus code CARDSCHAT.

Absolute PokerAbsolute Poker Referral Code CCHAT will get you a 100% upto $500 bonus at AbsolutePoker.com.

Should we take it easy on each other if we find ourselves involved in a pot with a fellow CCer or is it every man for himself?

I wondered that same thing after the first one I placed in, and before the second one. I got convinced it is everyman for himself. As much as I would prefer it to be team oriented the way a baseball game is as opposed to a homerun hitting contest.

The players who participate are no slouches, there are a lot of excellent players in the world. And many even better than that. We got shut out of the last one we did en mass. We have had 2 winners, AG, and Lightning36.
And several folks have placed in the points, getting us a freeroll at OFC's expense.

I was reading the rules of the OFC again looking for a loophole so that I can change forums but found nothing. But I would like to know about these team points that they mentioned. What are they for? If anyone has a link or info about it please pass it on.
thanks XXXDIRTYDOGXXX

Depending on where you place in the freeroll and/or buy-in, you earn points for the forum you represent based on your finish. The forum with the highest points earned wins a freeroll for their forum. Check out www.onlineforumchallenge, all the details should be there.

I say everyman for himself. But along the bad beat/suckout lines..Try not to suckout on you're fellow cards chat team members. I understand it's hard to laydown those flush open ended straight draws etc. But lets leave those bad beats for the opposing =) GL everyone

I was just looking on ultimate bet and seen everyone is signed up now but it seems to be screwed up. Both the freeroll and the buy in tourney are on sunday and somehow i am signed up for both yet i don't even have 5 dollars in my account cause i never played ultimate bet.

Looks like they need to fix it quickly.

You are automatically registered in the 5 dollar one if you have the money in your account. If you don't want to play it unregister.

Guess, I'm not playing?

Very strange, registered for the OFC, got OFC's confirmation, never got Ultimatebet's confirmation (and yes the email was verified) but UB has yet to reply to inquiry about not being registered after pre-registering. This happen to anyone else.

Usually customer support is right on the ball, last time they dropped my registration they notified me of the mistake and registered me for the next days tournament.

This time I can't seem to get a reply. Very strange indeed.

Good Luck to everyone.
But as far as taking t easier on each other. You really cant do that, If you're going to make it through a tourney as big as this one. You need to take down the pots when you can. Siting back and taking it easy just because another forum member is in the pot is not smart play let alone it falls under player collusion, which is a big no no. If you fighting for a WSOP seat are you going to lay day to a friend or fellow member??? Didn't think so.

As always good luck see you on the felt and read the new blog

so you're playing for what forum ? anyway even though we love our dirtydog , EVERYONE take him out !!

another thing is how are we gonna recognize our fellow cc'ers , they should have something identifying the forum represented so we know who's who.

Since these are friendly competitions, I suggest we all announce our Forum Allegiance early and often. The other folks playing are part of some forum, somewhere, and will at least be interested, and interesting. For the most part.

Any big hand you take down, state, "That hand brought to you by Cardschat!"
These are generally pretty good games, with very knowledgeable players . DO NOT assume the table is full of donks.

Please refrain from going on tilt and cussing in the chat box. Serves no purpose whatsoever. Ultimatebet has that big detachable chat, and many will rail either from the beginning, or as they are busted out.

Use our search function, or Quick Link/Member List to verify if a player is a CC'r. It is not 100% but might help.

GL to all our members today.

Good Point dj11..as for player list where is that for all the new people..(link)

Going light is all right, but soft play is collusion (a vague one) and well suck-outs happen. And chip dumping on a bluff is just a bad play..
But if you happen to recognize a player then I am sure that checking the BB with a weak hand is allowed and acceptable.
However the things friends would do in a freechip ring game, was PUSH All-in when you had the absolute nuts to clue them in NOT to call.
That is usually a warning flag anyway...

May the best Players make the Final Table..and may they all be CC members.

With the turn of a card - make it or break it
May your cards be Live and the Pots be Monsters - Its Freeroll TIME!!

And patience...it will be cut-throat at the beginning!!

TODAY IS THE First DAY of the OFC!!! Giddy'Up!! ITS ON!!! Bring your 'A' - Game PPl.

Ohwell, I tried lol. They wasn't able to make the corrections in time for Ultimatebet. So I won't be joining you all in this one. But play hard, and Lets hope the skill of cards chat survives, and may the poker gods give us luck as well. Good luck everyone!!!
