no talking

i noticed in the tourney yesterday that most people dont do much talking at the tables from this site just wondering y i just wanted to intro myself and meet fellow card players from this site but only like one or two people wanted to say hi back and then no more talking hmmmmmm anyway still loved the game

We actually talk a lot in our games - you were probably on a table full of new members.

Someone told me that the real players go there to play not to make friends,and I know that because of the high rate of self appointed experts berating you everytime you take their chips that alot of people mute all chat.Don't take it personnel

If a few people actually know each other you will see talking, or if it's talkative people.

Some people also don't like to talk while playing poker, they feel it makes their play worse.

I usually don't chat unless there is somebody I "know" through posts in the forum. People with none or only a few posts are not generally going to get a lot of chat. Not through being shunned, just not known.

well that explains it im a newbe here but still loving it ill just keep trying maybe ill get better not having to worry about talking lol
