I'm Trying
Would love to play Paradise today, but can't seem to respond to any postings. "Server is busy!"

With a large influx of new people all trying to post a lot at the same time, it causes larger than normal load on the server.
You will find it gets slow with that much use, no need to rush though, there are plenty more tournaments run by the site for the forum members. |

And I should point out, the wait time is not a recent addition. There has always been a necessary period of time for the administrators to check out the fifteen posts to see if they're legitimate, or if they're just quick one-liners for the sole and obvious purpose of gaining the password.
I was in danger of not making yesterday's freeroll due to the busy server preventing my access to the password. I know we are very reluctant to resort to emailing passwords due to the time and trouble involved, with which I agree. How difficult would it be for a private message to be sent to the existing members letting them know that the latest password has been posted? At least this would allow the regular Cardschatters to get onto the site, retrieve the password as quickly as possible, and get out of the way before the last-minute rush of newbies floods the server.
