How shall we work custom titles and freeroll winners?

Need your opinion on something. We gave Heshak a custom, green user title for being the winner of the first freeroll. Should we give one out to EVERY freeroll winner permanently, so we will have for example:

Heshak Freeroll Winner #1
TheWebmaster Freeroll Winner #2

and of course one for the person top of the overall freeroll leaderboard

or should we just give one to the winner of the past freeroll and the person top of the overall leaderboard?

or just for the leader of the overall freeroll leaderboard?

Give me your opinions guys, they count!

I'd say the first option sounds best. It adds a historical sense to the freerolls, a hall-of-fame feel.

hows bout

maybe freeroll points?
1st: 5 points
2nd: 4 points
3rd: 3 points
4th: 2
5th: 1

and have it by their name how many they won, lets say he got first in 2 freerolls and 4th in another.. he would be Name 12 points... lol just a suggestion

I think a message for each of the winners, AND one for the overall leader. Kind of like the Tour de France yellow jacket.

Re: I agree

Hi all,
Yep I agree, by the way Nick I was looking over Noble and noticed there are two players now registered for the 3rd freeroll, someone called Tobz? Is that your partner? If not how did he/she get the password? Just being nosey I guess.
I've also noticed just recently a lot more forums opening up, the most recent one I found is also holding $50 freerolls at Noble but there requirement is at least 25 posts and you have to have been a member for at least 14 days. Needless to say they don't have many entrants to their freeroll and NO I didn't sign up there, I was just researching. This is the place to be.
I suppose this question could be posted somewhere else and it's probably a long shot but if anyone knows of anywhere I can get hold of some imaging softward ( free preferably ) I need something which will enable me to place text over images ( including animations ).
Well, that's all from me for now, good luck at the tables.

Tobz = Toby, a fellow admin of the site.

Hi All
I think that there should be a points system for the yr. and you work your way to the title. Maybe even like a certain number of weeks and you have to be in the top ten at the end of that time. Then you would have like a playoff in pts with the top ten players.

Option 1

I think your first option sounds the best so everyone can see past and present winners, that would be nice to be able to see who has all won something.

ooooooooo... I definitely like the idea of rewarding points and the top 10 or 20 battle off in a $50 freeroll

Make a thread in the strategy section, this is offtopic.

why not both...you can have option 1, but also have a point system and have a leader board in which a player of the year can get picked. It wont be fair for everyone, only for those who play most of the tourneys. As for me, i probably wouldn't matter which way you go with this....im usually 1 of the first knocked out

i like the first option also. All in all there are some really good players in our freerolls and a little recognition on the site would be deserved. Not that i will ever have one the way ive been playin of late. See you all at the tables

they do it by how many people enter the tournament and the prize pool, it always depends but the people who run the place always figure it out so dont worry about it

i think that all the freeroll winners in one month should have be invited to a finale kind of thing so teh all the freeroll winners of that month go into a tourney and play for like a $50 or $100 prize pool
