I'm trying to meet the requirements as quickly as possible because I wanted quality people to practice with. Although I love as many freerolls as possible I thought the whole point of the community was to meet non "noobs" and not have to worry about a 2/7 off suit beating AA on the first hand.

That's very true and we do have very regular, community events (usually about 30-50 people in a typical freeroll) but this one time we want to see what it's like with hundreds/thousands. See if our poker kings on here can really fight off the crowd heh

I think it is a good thing to have some sort of requirements to keep out all the people who dont care.

hey guys, im pretty new here, but sometimes those freerolls arent so bad... Ive played on pokerstars freerolls from other sites and the turnouts werent so bad after all. One only had 516 and the other had 900, so its not always like the hubbles where you can get up to 6000 people and its an early all in spree, and the quality of play wasnt ridiculous, to me it wasnt so bad since i finished 8th and 88th... hey, who knows maybe it would work, it would be good to experiment... but cardschat does seems like a good site though.... keep up the good work

the only problem i have with your 15 post requirement is that there are too many tournaments that are easier to get involved with and a lot of your posts are just so much gratuitous conversation!

Gary, see the freeroll announcement section, and the sticky thread(s).

Smity46, we like the 15 post requirement, it keeps out *most* of the idiots.

There would be 2 heats and the top50 from each would qualify for the finals to win a $200 prizepool, it's a bit of fun and gives the site a bit of exposure, what do you think?
sounds good to me.. i'll be there.
