Hello new to poker online chats hoping to learn how to be a better player. Trying to practice as much as possible.

Gl luck today Donkeys are not bad players. They are just more creative and see possibilities when others see none.

dakota-xx looks like you had something on your mind today when you came up with the password, I am seeing another word for pot there and a slang term for pot, 420 being reduced by a few numbers.
Am i reading too much into it or did someone had a great Saturday night?

Well no money for me today. Got buisy with Easter and missed most of it. Not many chips left when I got back.

Well I was just about to say I was doing good just above average with 400 some people left. But I just ran my AK into AA and am left with 1k in chips.

Sure enough I shoved my last 1.8k in and the same guy calls. My JJ didn't hold up against his KK, no surprise there. 340th i think been a fun night, cy'all next week.

Finished in 11th. Knocked out by a usual flush on the river. Will I ever make a final table this year?

Villain was chip leader and very loose but I always respect an UTG raise. And AQoff's not my favorite hand. Wondering if I should have popped him preflop. I still got my money in as a 62% favorite. I dunno. Just pissed. Four hands before I lost half my stack on flush vs flush to the same guy. Anyways, here's my final hand....

went out 8th, got my money in good twice, lost twice =/ (KQ vs A10 board = 7 10 K, got all money in, turn = 10, and KK vs AK all in preflop, board = Q J 8 10 2 making him a straight)

You can sit and wait all day for AK suited, or pkt A's K's Q's to come visit you. If you sit and wait long enough you can then bet and hope some "DONKEY" with Q-4 offsuit makes 2 pairs or a low straight and busts your dreams of winning with AA.
There could be a few answers here.... (1) you decided to slow play your A's and let the Q-4 improve his hand for just a few chips.....(2) the player with Q-8 always plays them because they're his fav cards...(3) the player with Q-8 was a calling station and throws his chips in the pot because he has a good feeling.
The ahort end of this story is that your aces get cracked and you want to bad mouth the player with Q-8, then you can use the term DONKEY.

In the protection of DONKEY's, who can be creative card players, they sometimes believe they can convince other players that there 7,2 offsuit is better than pkt aces and will re-raise your weak raise with a much bigger one to make you sit up and think. He might even put you all in causing you to fold your pkt J's Q's or maybe even K's. You will no doubt want to call him something....DONKEY seems to fit the bill
