Freerolls what a pain

I am chipleader at my table. Its folded to me. I raise to 300 (4 bbs - my stack 7500) when I find I have QQ.

Called by one of the blinds (stack 5500).

The two of us see a flop of J 10 5

I feeling pretty happy. Other guy goes all-in. I can't really fold so I call his all-in. He shows J 10. I am still happy until he hits the third 10 on the river. Very nice. I'm eliminated after playing an hour.

*** all-in with second pair against a pre-flop raiser what rubbish ***

Nobody likes to lose with a killer hand but that's why they call it gambling. Jack & 10 is one of my favorite hands!

I think you wrote the flop out wrong, because the way it is, he had two pair on the flop and I defaintley wouldn't be happy to see that lol. Unless you mean he had King Ten, which I can see you accidentally typing, as the J and K are side by side, ok, i think i figured it out lol.

like u still had a chance after seeing J 10 ?
well any ways its really worthless to be in a free roll unless just for fun,
cause your not really gonna get good experience (fishes), and its a lose of time, stick on sit n go's

When it costs nothing to play, a lot of palyers are going to play like they have nothing to lose (because they don't). Wecolme to the world of freerolls!

freerolls are not worth getting steamed over even if you had spent a couple or more hours in just to get eliminated by a shty hand, it happens all the time in freeroll.
Just keep it in mind when you play the next one.

hm, he lost in a freeroll....what a badbeat!!!
2 pairs are better than 1 pair! call the police.

Sorry, but you can't expect A-game poker in a freeroll, thats a fact!

Why didnt you just jam and protect your hand, only aa, kk are ahead of you. You are betting under 10% of his stack, and that is with in the range of calling a spectulive hand like j 10 suited. He may have still called but you would be hugly +EV.

If you watch players line annette 15, vietcong 01 you will notice something...they play EVERYTHING like a free roll...why, simple in bigger buyin tournies you have auto fold equity, nobody wants to bust out. The old saw is to play oppisite everybody else, and of couse run good.

Playing freerolls takes as much skill and patience as playing at the real money tables. I can't tell you how many Pocket A's, K's, AK, AQ, etc. I've folded for fear I was beat by a 2-3 when the cards flop a 2-3, and someone goes all in. lol Freerolls are a different animal all together, and have to be played accordingly.

the first 10-15 min of a freeroll should be call BINGO in stead of poker, but after that it's alright, but it is still a freeroll. But even the low buyins there are still BINGO players

That can be also my story, I always have the same trouble. And something more, when I'am have the luck, that I was ITM in the tournament, then I will be in that part where I become some cents, far away from a dollar. But I look positive in the future, maybe it will still happens.
Good luck to all cardschaters and have always good hands.
See us at the tables.
Ciao,
Bluestone

i feel your pain people

Yeah, i always get mad in freerolls. I get pissed when having AA and pushing someone all-in preflop only to see he has a K2 offsuit as i laugh, but he is the last one to laugh as he sucks out on the river. I admit i get real mad, but in the end, what did i lose? nothing, just a little time, but when i do place i always say i have a good time. So think about that when you take a bad beat, how sometimes you may suck out on ppl too or how it costs nothing for a freeroll lol........well, good luck everyone
