Go ahead and post the URL to the story. It's really no big. I just wonder why you keep going on-and-on about it and show no proof. Do you have hand-histories, etc. to back up your claims? Try posting a little proof, and maybe then people will stop treating you like a conspiracy theorist.

Right on!

Thanks Rammer Jammer for the heads up info on the FR Winnings and trying to cash it out... I agree with you, every poker room has a different policy on withdrawls regarding FR Winnings, so players will have to read between the lines...

Better yet...Just make a deposit... And play to WIN BIG!!!

Here is a convo i had with Poker host:

------------------------------------------------------------------

Josh:
Thank you for contacting Online Poker Support! How can I help you today?
you: if i deposit say $20 and i get a $20 bonus, do i have to clear half the bonus amount to be able to withdraw my original deposit amount
Josh: YEs.
you: do you have any current bonus offers
you: ?
Josh: The 110% Promo Bucks promotion is credited up to a maximum amount of 500. It is credited to a separate balance known as promo bucks. It consists on while you play at the tables and contribute to rake, a percentage goes back to your account. The exact percentage is 50%. Once this rake rebate accumulates to $5 then it automatically converts to your real money balance in that same increment.
you: so $50 of my rake goes to free up my promo money ?
you: i mean 50% of my rake
you: goes to free up my promo money
Josh: Basically, what this means is that per every $10 you have accumulated in rake at our real money tables the system will automatically grab 5 PokerBucks and convert them into $5. These $5 will be instantly credited to your real money account free of restrictions.
you: does it matter what limity tables i play on
Josh: No at all.
you: i have one more Q
Josh: Sure.
you: i have won a freeroll which paid for my entry into another tourney tonight
you: if i win any money in this buyin tonight, will i be free to withdraw it ?
Josh: Poker Host considers promotional money the balance of all money won through table promotions, freerolls, or any other type of incentive, money incurred from the use of promotional money before an initial deposit, and any deposit bonuses awarded.
Josh: Poker Host gives you the opportunity to release your promotional money as you play! For every 5 raked hands played at tables $1/$2 or higher, you may release $1 from your promotional money balance or $2 in tourney fees for every $1 won.
Josh: ** The amount of raked hands played or tourney fees will be calculated starting from the date of your initial deposit.
Josh: After an initial deposit is established, money awarded through table promotions, freerolls, or any other type of incentive (with the exception of deposit bonus money) can be withdrawn at your own convenience.
you: so will my buy in winnings be considered promo money ?
Josh: Yes, now you know it better than me.
you: and i will need to play 5 raked hands on a 1/2 table to free a dollar of it
Josh: You get it.
you: ok
you: what about freeroll winnings that i win after i have deposited
you: are they free to withdraw or what ?
Josh: That is real money, cash.
you: so if i deposit, win a freeroll, i can withdraw the winnings straight away
you: like cash?
Josh: Yes but only If you do not have instant cash bonus.
you: so if i deposit and recieve no bonus or promo money, all freeroll winnings are mine, free to withdraw as well as my original deposit?
Josh: You get it.
you: ok
you: if i deposit today, can i choose not recieve a bonus or promotional offer
Josh: Yes.
you: how
Josh: Just make your deposit and ask for 110% promobucks.
you: what if i dont wanna do the promo bux thing
you: what if i want NO bonuses or promo's
Josh: The promobucks won't affect your withdrawals.
Josh: The Instant cash bonus does.
you: so if i do the promobucks thing, i can still withdraw my original deposit when i want?
Josh: Yes.
you: what is the min. deposit ?
Josh: $20.
you: so if i deposit $20 i can withdraw it again straight away?
Josh: Yes, but the security department will contact you asking the reason why you make a dep and a couple of hours later you make a withdrawal.
you: if i double up at a table, can i still withdraw my original $20 and also, what is the withdrawal policy towards my winnings?
Josh: If you do not mind I can give you the link to check it out.
you: ok but one more Q
Josh: Sure.
you: if i depois and then withdraw straight away,
you: *deposit
Josh: Can you be more specific please.
you: will any freeroll winnings after that be able to be withdrawn straight away
Josh: After you make your Initial deposit, you can do it.
you: so if i deposit, then withdraw it again, any freeroll winnings after will be mine to withdraw#
Josh: Kindly allow me a brief moment while I check on that for you.
you: ok
Josh: Ys, you will be able.
you: ok
you: thats all anyway
you: thanks a lot for takin the time to help me out
Josh: In the meantime, is there anything else I can assist you with today?
you: nothats it

------------------------------------------------------------------

The gist of it is, if you deposit the min ($20) you can withdraw it straight away, and then after that, all freeroll winnings will be yours to withdraw when you want.

Sounds like a good idea!

Its all too easy to download software and play freerolls. Most of the posts here deal with people not taking the time to read the terms and conditions, freeroll requirements and withdrawl requirements at the various sites.

When you download, before you proceed you have to agree to the terms and conditions the site imposes.

You know that little box that says " I agree".

I have been playing seriously online since March, started playing freerolls and gradually worked up to buyins.

I have approximately 150 poker sites downloaded, but there are probably another 200 I didn't because of their onerous conditions.

Of the 150, I would say 30 of them my winnings had no requirements, so when I won enough at one of those sites utilized the winnings to fund other sites that required deposit prior to playing.

I have not one red cent of my own invested but my bankroll continues to grow.

So take 5 minutes to read everything about the site prior to downloading, it'll save you lots of heartache later.

Hello Cardschatters.

Good stuff in this thread very very informative. Thanks posters for the education. I can add that I cashed out from Spades Lounge with no hassle from their beta program without ever having deposited. I am just looking for a few good sites to deposit into now. Actually just made my first deposit with Dream today. Looking for a few more that have nice bonuses or something. I have never and probably would not ever had deposited anywhere for fear of the obvious.

So, no deposit sites are awesome in my opinion. Gotta love that opportunity they give us all. I for one have become very grateful. Just pay attention to the fine print everybody. Otherwise, you might just be playing for fun. I know most of us love this game dearly but I highly doubt most of us would just be playing for the fun of it. I know I am in it for the money. I am not ashamed to admit it either. If that makes me a freeroll whore, so be it. Gotta find some way to come up a little. Thats all I want. I don't need to be rich, but comfortable would be nice.

Good luck everybody. We all surely need it in this game.

One of the best places i have played at is poker4ever, and i won like $6 in a free roll, got in a pay game or so and two days later i had them send $300 to my netteller acount, took 2 days from the time i asked for it.never made a deposit there at that time. very easy and fast.

Great info guys. I have made a note of the sites given and hope to make a minimum deposit on the ones which are 'catch' free.

Dear James,

Thank you for contacting Pacific Poker.

James, I can confirm that your understanding of our Bonus policy is
correct.

Both the complimentary $10 and the 25% 1st. Deposit Bonus must be
Wagered 20 times before they can be Cashed Out.

In the case of the $10, for example, this means you must Wager $200
before Cashing Out the $10, as you correctly surmise.

There are no extra conditions on this re. Raked Hands played etc. and
Tournament Buy-Ins count as Wagered money.

Further, any winnings made on these Bonuses are immediately available
for Cashing Out i.e. before the minimum Wagering requirement has been
met on the Bonus.

Therefore, Freeroll winnings count as your own money from the word go
and can be Cashed Out straight away.

I am sorry if this sounds too simple for you, but if you wish I will
speak to our management to see if we can introduce a "catch" or two!

Seriously though James, it is that simple and I can tell you from
experience that I have seen many cases of Members who have either
sizeable Bankrolls or who have Cashed out large sums from very small
beginnings (including, occasionally, nothing more than the first $10
Bonus, with no actual deposit ever being made).

If you require further assistance in this or any other matter, please
feel free to contact us - we are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week.

Kind regards,
Brian Mc.

I have a question about Titan. You said that if you won a freeroll you needed to have a certain number of raked hands to withdraw. In my case, I won a freeroll ages ago on Titan, got like $150. AFter a while I lost it. But in losing it I probably got loads of raked hands. (Enough to withdraw I would imagine) . SO now if I won another freeroll would I be able to withdraw stright away?

In response to freeroll winnings.

I was recantly quoting your freeroll winnings post and a friends mom was quick to tell me she had cashed out money she had earned at planet poker out without ever making a deposit. Thought you might want to know.

Poker Time Freeroll Policy

I have seen a post here that Poker Time requires raked hands for freeroll
withdrawals. I have just talked to their support and this is apparently untrue.
Raked hand requirements apply to bonus money only. Freeroll earnings can be withdrawn without a deposit if you are using Neteller. Other payment means may require an initial deposit of $20, after which you can withdraw right away.

One caveat .. I haven't tried this yet!!

P.S. I do notice that when I go to the withdrawal page and click on Neteller, it shows my full balance available for withdrawal .. even though I have never made a deposit at this site. All my winnings are from freerolls or from money made on tournaments entered using freeroll winnings.

I don't know about all that. I've never deposited in any online poker account and I've had no issue withdrawing funds. I've always had to wait for a check to come in the mail, but over the last 2 years I've cashed out nearly $20,000 from various websites...Paradise Poker, Noble Poker, to name a few.......

It depends on the site. You can find out through their support, or find the terms and conditions.

Edit: I should add that at most sites, you can earn your bonus back more quickly at the higher level ring games rather than the SNGs and MTTs. But again, it depends on each individual site's policies regarding bonus clearing.

It really depends on the site....be sure to read through ALL the details when sigining up for a new site for a freeroll b/c some sites require a small deposit mostly of the $20 area for 30 days.
