Freeroll sites in the US

I wanted to get into some freeroll tourneys, but the scheduling on most of them is horrid. I thought maybe if I join a few more sites I might find one every few days that I can join. I'm already a member of PokerStars and Bodog, anyone recommend anything else?

UltimateBetUltimate Bet are one of the older poker sites on the internet with a great range of games to play and a 111% poker bonus with the bonus code CARDSCHAT.

PokerStarsPokerStars is amongst the best poker sites online that accepts US players. Use PokerStars marketing code CARDSCHAT for an exclusive $75 bonus.

Full Tilt. Registration for their $100 freerolls starts 40 mins before the tourney, but you had better be waiting to register with finger on the button because they will fill up to the 2,700 player limit within less than a minute sometimes.

Yeah, it's tough for me to find a freeroll that I can get into. I work 2 jobs so I'm seeing dozens of freerolls that I can't get into.

Every site that I know of has freerolls. Most established online players and certainly members here have many many sites installed. I regularly play 3 sites, and have at least 5 others that I occasionally visit.

Here are some suggestions,

For the most part these are all well established, reputable sites.

While almost everyone will appreciate the freeroll path, a real money account solves that 'Can't find a game to fit my schedule' dilemma.

I do have a real money account open, but it doesn't hurt to earn a few extra free bucks or take a shot at it if I can. I play sng's all day long and usually walk away a winner, so I'm thinking freerolls would be another good way to earn something.

What are the requirements for ultimatebet? Can I just download it, start an account with no money, and go?

Carbon Poker has a good amount of freerolls, very low payout but very easy to cash. And they usually only last a few hours.

Besides Full Tilt Poker and Ultimate, Poker Stars also has the Hubble and Copernicus freerolls several times a day that are sats to a Weekly Round 2 tourney with a $2000 prize pool. To get tickets to RD 2 you need to place in the top 88 or 99 depending on the qualifier.

Also if you don't mind Absolute Poker, they have FR's almost hourly I think. Mind you there are plenty entered and the top 63 share the $50 (if I'm not mistaken) prize pool.

Landshark also has a $200 FR at 3:00pm et daily and $50 FR's at midnight and 8:00 am et.

If you google 'poker freerolls' there will be a few sites that offer a list of strictly freeroll tourney's available at various poker sites.

Is this true for absolute and bodog? Also, is it a 30 day wait (after deposit) or required amount of rakes (after deposit) at a required blind if you don't deposit before you win the freerolls?

Examples:

Win $100 from freerolls, deposit $25 (minimum varies) and wait 30 days so you can cash out.

Or

Win $100 from freerolls, deposit $25 (minimum varies) and play at $1/$2 tables then cash out $1 for every 5 (depends on the policy) rakes you complete?

Poker Time has a ton of them, they pay out 260 places and their's sualy only 500 to 800 playing so cashing isn't a problem. Catch is you need to play a raked hand to two 24 before the game, the more raked hands the bigger your starting chips. I usualy play up to 4-5,000 chips or so and take off to play ring games, always cash. It isn't much money (.75 placing 260th to 160th but it all adds up in the end.)

There's a link to Poker Time here, please use it to download the site!

Another site you could try is Reeferpoker.com.

If you have an account there and go to 'Player administration' , then click on play money in the lefthand column you will get a window saying you can trade $250 in play money for a Step1 SnG coupon which you can play to get to step 2 and step3. Should you win step 3 they will credit you with $1 in real funds. This can be used in ring games to try to build a BR. If you want to play SnG's or tourneys then you can just repeat the process until you have a couple of dollars to enter the costlier games.

Full Tilt also has SNG freerolls that open about every 2-5 minutes if you click on SNG you can watch for them to pop up. They also fill up quick however they are constantly going.

Party poker has lots of freerolls but not too many during the day. Full tilt has lots but you have to be quick to registar. I just started playing a bit on WPT and its kinda of a good site to play on I like it. pokerstars is good too but they take forever to play if u do well.
