first in 180 person freeroll

i know its not quite related to your free rolls i wanted to tell u guys i placed first in the 180 person poker after dark round1 and have advanced to the poker after dark round 2 at 9 think 8 pm on the 19'th. how many of u guys took a first in a large freeroll?

A few months ago i took 1st in the omaha 2700 player freeroll which i was only playing to learn the game, it was quite the bargain since it was only my 4th or 5th time playing omaha

congrats in 2nd round, I took acouple of freerolls down with fields up to 3500 on Absolute Poker, and acouple on U.B, once again congrats

Those freerolls on full tilt come up so often (like every couple of minutes) that I always go all-in on the first hand no matter what I have and usually theres 3 -7 other people that go all-in. About 2-3 out of 10x I win the hand and end up with 10K+ after the first hand which is usually enough to get me to the final table every time. I've won a few times with this particular strategy. But unfortunately have not won round 2 yet because I play tight-aggresive. I think maybe I'll try the donk strategy in round 2 next time.

yeah a lot of all inners i've noticed..ppl really tightin up when there are about 80 ppl left and its hard to get chips..i was sittin at the final tbl when the blinds where 30 percent my stack for 45 minutes but somehow i managed to hold on..hope round two goes as well as round 1

Congrats to you . I have won 1 each of the 1st round the 180 and 360 using boeggs strategy. The second round is a lot tougher good luck!

Lets not overrate the 180 person poker after dark tourny..Its as bad as the aussie millions freeroll..Kudos you did a great job if you look @ it like you were in a 9 person sng

Took another first in a 180 poker after dark..so i get to go to round 2 again hahaha..maybe ill do better this time

I play the PAD freerolls occasionally the last one I played I finished around 20th.
The best finish in a large freeroll I have had was 1st in the 10000 person (they are now 12000 people) Hubble's freeroll on Poker Stars which gave me entry to the weekly round 2, which I placed 46th and won $3.20 I have since stopped playing these as it is not worth playing 6 1/2 hours for round 1 then 6 1/2 for round 2 for a measly $3.20.
The only good thing that these freerolls teach you is patience in a large freeroll.

freerools take alot of patients ive have made it in that round before for both au and poker after dark like u but its a waste of time because only 1 person can win to get anything

I won a 100$ freezeout freeroll on VC Poker (1000 entrants) a few weeks ago. Won 23$ with that. Since then always top 10 but, never winning though (always one dumb impulsive decision at the final table)
