Wow...I didn't think people were serious about this freeroll...I thought it would be like other freerolls and at least 2,000 people are out on the first hand...

no this is a little different than "hubbles nl holdem freeroll" more then "weekly round 2" at stake...

Currently at the first 5 minute break there are 2,577 players left and I came back from sitting out and have about $2,200 and blinds are going up 100/200 with a 25 ante...

I say I'm gonna get about 1,600 place more or so...

Rare in any FR to make it ITM by sitting. Best guess is that a sitter in the Negreanu FR will go out anywhere from 1,600 to 1,800. Quite a few short of the 900 bubble.

I've been playing on PokerStars quite a while and even if it were a NL Omaha or NL Omaha h/l you wouldn't make it much higher than maybe 1,400 to 1,500.

Sitters normally go out during the second hour and ITM isn't usually reached until the third hour. Starts getting a little tighter after the sitters blind out, but Good Luck.

just to let anyone who hasnt heard know...

i played last week in this freeroll i got in the 630 one and played it a little loose figureing i could just hit up the next one at 930...but they informed me that you can only play once a week...

so that should really cut down on bs plays...not that you arent gunna see any but i think itll cut down on it some anyway... seeing as tho you can only play in the things once a week...i was a little dissapointed at first ..but now that its set in a little..i kinda like the idea...

good day....the maggot and his dog.....

yeah i was actually gonna say something like that too.the only reason 2000 people aren't dropping out on the first hand is because you only get to play once a week....so if you play on monday you cant play either till next mondayt or tuesday not sure yet but ill try and find out or if anyone else knows just drop a line.

I registered for one last week and wound up not being able to play. Hand history shows my last chip went in at the 100/200 level.

I sat out in one of these last week and ended up about 60 or 70 places from the money. I registered because I did not know you could only place once a week.

But you didn't sit out into the money. You played selected hands and only made it to 854. Without those hands, you would be out much earlier.

According to PokerStars, their 'new weeks' for the Negreanu tourns are Sat thru Fri, so if you played on a Wed, you should be able to register on the next Sat, but then you're done for a full week. GL.
