Cardschat monthly $1000 Titan Poker Freeroll

it got cancelled after it failed to start within Titan pokers timelimit due to some techincal error.Since it was cancelled it automatically unregistred all players thats was registred for the tournament.Then it just said cancelled in the drop down list.Thats the full story.No one was ever seated.

Thats right no one was seated, the only thing different than has already been stated is that after it was cancelled (3 minutes after advertised start time) that I noticed, was that about half the registered players were removed from the list. There were 38 players registered at start time.

Yeah I was expecting the Titan message to appear saying the tourney had started but all I got was the cancelled screen.

Not the end of the world though....

too bad I can't play there. Seems like very good tourneys. I wish that they had tourneys with that big of a payout for the US.

At first I too was a bit miffed about freerolls here and there that for one reason or another I couldn't play in.

Then I got to thinking (a dangerous thing ) about the realities involved.

This really isn't much different than the time zone issue, or that Canucks can't play bodog games.

Pretend this Titan freeroll were played at 4AM your time. I personally would not be staying up that late, nor waking up that early chasing it down.

There are many games that most Euro's won't play because they are too late.
Aussies like Zorba have to wake at weird hours to play in some of the events.

I like the idea that this site is getting more and more truly WORLDWIDE.

I wish I could play in TITAN POKER.But our stupid law in US wont let us play there..

The playing times are not too bad for me Usually 7-9 am, it is the getting of the password for the freerolls that hurts me(3am).
The ones i would like to play more of are the buy-in events but they usually start at 4am which is awkward.
I too like the WORLDWIDE thing.

You can certainly play with us, Emmy, and we'd love you to do that (but not in the Cardschat freeroll)

This game is really starting to grate on me. Once again I can't reg. What is going on here ? If its a question of using the CC link, I certainly did, the forum games were the only reason i signed up there in the first place.

Actually I was asking tenbob, but I subsequently noticed that he had answered that question earlier in the thread, so it became irrelevant anyway

Woohoo! The first time that I (remembered to) play this one, and I make it ITM, finishing 7th in the end. Sweet. Nice tournament, with very nice prize money and payout structure. Thanks, guys!

Great tourney folks. Shame about the Titan structure, overly fast, no chip average, etc etc. But I got lucky when it counted and unlucky when it counted. Still ill take the result.
