No place for that kind of abuse and language. His karma will catch up with him sooner or later

Nothing would give me more pleasure (ok, maybe a few things would) to blast this guy, but unfortunately, I can't find his name in our database.

I think we need a better cross reference system, like you must give your correct login name to this website, so if fishy names are popping up on the list, they can get removed.

It would help against, multiples, cheaters, bad talkers and password sharing.

I think that's a great idea, but not sure there is a way...

When joining make it compulsory to supply screen names in profile before membership is granted, too late for the ppl who are already members but those that are new wont know why and should supply their correct screen names. (just an idea)

Happening way too often lately

This sort of behaviour is so quickly dealt with in live poker. Lately this sort of thing is prevalent in all levels of the game online, from free rolls within a community to larger open cash games. Many times these actions are from very young players I have seen several admit they were only 16 in chat. We as participants have to stay vigilant and copy and paste these chats to the poker sites support team and hope they will actually do something about it.
Supports usual response is that you can mute them.

the guy with the attitude

I will keep my eyes open and let you all know if i see something. I play poker almost all day long, and poor sportsmanship just makes him look bad unless we play into his dumb game.

Nothing but class there <sic>. Easy to be obnoxious when you're looking at a screen as opposed to a face, and maybe a fist, the can stare you down. I agree with the suggestion that he's just a punk kid with absolutely no manners or ethics.

He should be reported to the site, and if this is a private freeroll the site should be able to supply the host with an IP or e-mail addy to help reprimand the jerk.

For the most part I don't even pay attention to the Chat when I'm playing poker and I tend to ignore most of what is said. I do the same thing when people flame or make negative comments in this forum or any other forum for that matter.

Giving suggested sign in names is the easiest way without it getting to technical. We should just provide the 1 user name we wish to use in the CC tournaments.

If you are in the top 30 and win any money, and your nick name is not registered. Consider it void?

It's a bit harsh but it saves on password sharing, abusing ammounts of entries and just overall abuse and acting up like this post was about.

If this option is taken, I would strongly suggest only Admin get access to the Usernames for security reasons.

the simple solution on Ultimatebet is to right click the person and just mute their chat. Perhaps you can take the high road and just let them vent. It just a few words that mean nothing.

Very good idea, to add to it perhaps a way to clean house would be to run a user profile update with the Log In comand that would make all CCr's have there screen names listed before they'd be allowed back in. If they don't provide a screen name for any particular site they wouldn't be allowed to see the password. It would only take a few moments for each member to fill out a form and you know the honest people wouldn't mind it one bit.

No Idea how one would program this as I am far from a computer whizz but I'm sure it can be done easier than one might think. Been through it at a non poker related site to update user profiles a couple of years ago ( at a world wide bow hunting community)

rude players

in my opinion the best way to deal with rude players is to simply block their chat and ignore them. emailing support may or may not help. once you block them all you see whenever they speak is *******
