I'm sorry, Internet slang I guess way to used to chatting on msn. Thank you guys for creating this site. I've been looking for people to talk poker with for some time now. Just moved to a small town in Ontario, need I say more. Barley any poker at the casino, Plus i don't know anyone here yet.

ferguson is pretty good. but u can get rich to a certain extent off freerolls. highest money ive won off a freeroll was 500 and tourny lasted like 2 hours and somehting. but u wont make BIG BIG bucks playins just freerolls. usually freerolls helps get a online bankroll going then u go from there

i mean unless u find a 1 time freeroll with like 5k up for grabs seriously... the 2k weekly freeroll that u have to win from other freerolls give u a max of $400 which is like 20% which is like almost impossible unless u r a great player to place 99th in a 12k tourney then place 1st to win a max of $400 in another tourney lol thats hard

It is a great way to start. I built up my $30 freeroll winnings by playing small SNG's. Got up to $1000 and have maintained that bankroll for 6 months. I am no Annette_15......maybe cause I am a guy.

Of course you can make a fortune playing freerolls. But it's much easier marrying into a wealthy family.

I won $150 on PartyPoker freeroll when they were still open to the US players. Took about 4-5 hours. Took $2 of that and won $1200 in a larger tourney. and that was all from a deposit from a freechip I had at an online casnio. but that was only $50

I've cashed quite a few times and have a nice little bankroll from playing freerolls. I'll never play on TV but so taking my chances on freerolls is worth it to me! Not in it to get rich... just love to play the game!

Freerolls and a great tool for learning the game and they sometimes can provide you with enough to do some other things in life.
Ive done zero to hero here and there, and learned a lot. My experiece w endless, constant FRs has ground me into a mediocre player, at least, which is better than when I was swimming in ring games.

Zero to Hero: Bodog i did about 80 in a month, same at Paddy Power. Don't have time to play all the games, tryin to make some real dosh faster.

My FR wins make me more confident, which helps in the money games.

And no, I don't donk off cos its for free, I want to learn and win.

GL.

This run defied all reasonable odds, even AA will lose to 72 off 12% of the time by the numbers. My point to this rant. Yeah he did it, but I don't believe it is very likely that anybody else ever will in that short of a time period. Good Luck in trying .
U peeps have it wrong, Chris went to make 10K from zero in a year, not 100. He got up to 18 recently and is now down to nine.

I think not

I would def half to say no because most of the places that I have played at won't even let you take out money unless you deposit. So I would think that you really couldn't become that rich by it unless there was 3 tears to the freeroll and you one each one

i believe it is possible to help start a bankroll with a freeroll win or actually getting some descent cash in a freeroll place but as far as counting on making money from them it's just to hard because there are too many donks in the freerolls.

won a few free rolls, n been placed in quite a few, only play them when im skint, got $15 up 2 $500+, but then got the worst beats possible, i.e aa beaten by j7 with an all in pre flop, if ya manage 2 build up a bank roll, avoid the cash tables would be my advice...

I play freerolls alot and have got up to 20 euros with my winnings of 1 euro but thats all gone now. I think its more than posible with a lot of smart play.

Chris ferguson spent a long time before actually got his bank roll going places.

If you are a suckout at poker and knows it, freerolls are a great way to refill your account. Bare in mind though: Why do you think the sites offer them?

I believe that was 10K,.. not 100K. I believe it took him something like 6 to 7 mos. to get his bankroll up to $7. Sounds like a grind.

Freerolls unfortunately require a very different style of play. Hard to say if someone could actually improve their game on them or not,... I suppose so if you were just a rookie. Poker is about not making mistakes and playing the opponents on your table,.... freerolls,... well they're about a ton of loons making super loose calls without having much of a clue at all.

I play them at times,... when I've gotten sucked out on with a few badbeats in succession in the $$ mtts or sngs. Then I might spend a few days up to a week playing in freerolls,... only the priv. ones though,.. they're not near as bad as the online poker site freerolls,.. those are brutal. I'd say, "Do yourself a favour and just MAKE A DEPOSIT!!" (oh yah,.. and buy a handful of poker books first too)
