Seeing as there is often confusion around about the time of forum tournaments, and seeing as the boards are a bit messy with random scraps of information regarding forum events, I intend for this topic to be a guide to all our forum events, from when and where they are to how to get the passwords. At Cardschat we run some regular buyin and money added tournaments, as well as a regular freeroll. Upcoming events can be found at the bottom of the boards list on the main page as well as the calendar, but here is a timetable of the events we are currently running.

Freerolls

Bodog Poker: Weekly $100 freeroll; Wednesdays at 3:05pm EST (15:05).

Full Tilt Poker: Weekly $200 Freeroll; Sundays at 5:30pm EST (17:30)

Poker Stars: $200 Freeroll; Saturdays 1:30pm EST (13:30).

Titan Poker: $1000 Freeroll held monthly on the last Thursday of each month. Restrictions apply. See here for details.

Ultimate Bet: $150 Freeroll; Wednesdays at 8:00pm EST (20:00).


$5 buyin:

Full Tilt Poker: $200 Added; Saturdays at 5:30pm (17:30) EST.

Titan Poker : $50 Added; Saturdays at 3pm (15:00) EST

Ultimate Bet: $100 Added; Mondays at 7:00pm (19:00) EST


$10 buyin:

Bodog Poker: Weekly at 5:05pm EST on Tuesdays ($125 Added, plus a ticket to the Bodog $100K Guaranteed)

PokerStars : Weekly at 1:30pm (13:30) EST on Sundays ($200 Added)

Tournament passwords

This section will detail how to go about gaining access to and finding the passwords for our regular forum events. For details on passwords for special events, please follow the relevant link given in this topic.

For our freerolls, the passwords are posted in the Freeroll Passwords sub-forum roughly 1-4 hours before the start of the event, and are available to all members. This is to lessen the eternal problem of lots of sitouts who register early then promptly disappear I think, but Nick probably has some other weird reason for it involving custard and horses. The freeroll passwords are posted further in advance in a special forum for top quality members - access to this forum is gained only by manual approval from the admin/mod team, and asking for access is a sure fire way to lower your chances of being let in!
THERE IS NO POST REQUIREMENT FOR FREEROLL PASSWORDS.

For the buy-in and money added tournaments, the passwords appear typically a couple of days in advance in a topic in our special real money password forum, visible to all members who have made 15 quality posts. Please note that spamming meaningless posts just to get to 15 is frowned upon, as is rush-posting in general and spam abuse will only result in you being banned. The buyin/money added tournaments are intended to be for active and contributing members to the site, so please help out by posting well!

Note that it takes about an hour for the password forum to appear upon hitting 15 posts, so please don't start spamming the boards when it doesn't immediately appear.
