BODOG $500 freeroll killer!!!!!

last night took down the $500 30 player point freeroll on bodog after 5 in a half hours of play been about a month since i took down or took 2nd in my last freeroll, so it was nice to be back up to running down the competition full speed i had literally 1,975 chips when i made the payout mark to place in the money with 64 people to go an some how i managed to climb the highest ladder i ever had to overcome in a very long while final table was crazy as hell cause the chip bullies were putting everyone to the test by horrendously over betting each preflop so my plan was to trap or wait it out while others started dropping like flies or getting coolered but when it came to 3 players remaining i was basically being tag teamed an had to keep folding my blinds untill i could attempt a trap well i was at 167k going into 3 way play an caught pocket 4's in bb small blind chip leader raises 120k so it comes to me i flat call tryin to hit my set
an flop comes 453 he bets enough to put me all in i call an he turns over j6 os for a openended straight draw but ten comes on turn an 3 making me a 4's over 3's full house an takes the pot leaving me with now almost 390k next three hands after i doubled i got all in with ak a6 suited an finally ace 9 suited where i was called by kq os an nine hit on flop an blank blank runnur runner knocked 2 nd in chips nearly out leaving him with 67k an me up to nearly 800k an taking over chip lead two hands later short stack goes out to 2nd in chips then we going into heads up my 865k to his 535k he raises 1st three hands where im forced to give up my blinds then like 5 to 6 mins in i get q6 clubs in sb he raises to 56k i try making a move an reraise him all in to get couple rounds of my blinds back but he instantly calls me an has aj clubs flop comes k83 rainbow turn card brings 5 river comes Q i beat aj suited an win it all in about 7 mins heads up !!
but overall was definitely hard to pull out! hope to see ya'll in the next one or ina future one peace an gl at the tables!
TEAM DONK HELD IT DOWN!!

Congrats Wood! Nice management without getting frustrated by being shortstacked. Would have had to be very low hitting the paying places at 1900+ chips.

Well done! I like that tourney myself.

I'm confused as to where the Freerolls are on Bodog. Every table I see is either play money or has a buy-in.

The orig post was in Jan, but I just joined here in May. Good job on the win...late kudos is better than no kudos. The thing about those tourneys is you get decent players, but a very loose style of play as it's almost a free roll. As always, you've got to change your style of play to reflect the table and tourney.

Anyone ever stick out the Bodog 4000 person freeroll? One of the only times I gave a concerted effort, I made it to 35th before deciding to go to bed at 2:00 am.
