BEST FREEROLL YET...............

Hi folks,

Been playing online for a month now and had my best freeroll result yet 7/1240 on partypoker. I wanted some feedback if poss.

On the final hand i played i had pocket 10s and i called, 3 low cards were flopped and i raised and was called, another low card came and i raised all in and was called (lot of chips in the pot at this point). my opponents cards were A9 and guess what? an ace came on the river. What would you have done differently? I know from reading other posts that situations like this are open to interpretation and views will differ but any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

And to make things worse two short stacks at the table went out on the nxt hand! Hope to meet some of you guys at the tables soon.

PartyParty Poker is probably the best known online poker room. Use the Party Poker bonus code CC150 for a 30% upto $150 deposit bonus.

Pacific PokerPacific Poker is the poker room for 888.com casino and is still a favourite, especially amongst new players. They recently updated their software with a sleek and smooth new look which is much better to play.

Yes you should have posted in tournament hand analysis.
Also it is very hard to tell without the proper information. I haven't used partypoker in a while but you should be able to get a hold of the hand history and post that. It is hard to tell anything without knowing position, blinds, antes, stack size, any possible reads, if the flop is suited, or there is a straight draw, the list can go on... Make sure you capture the HH next time and I sure people here would be more than happy to help you out.
Nice job on your cash though 7th out of over 1200 is a very nice finish.

Given the info provided, it was final table, 7 handed, and you have an overpair.

I think you did it right, and villain made a donk call and got rewarded for his bad play. Seeing as villain had made it this far, it's a bit of a stretch to think he is a donk in general. I imagine when he saw your TT, he about shit his pants, and started serious prayer for the 3 outer.

depends how much you raised based on his stack vs yours, sounds like he bought a few cards calling you on his draw. don't give em cheap cards if its obvious they are trying for another card

You hardly ever hear anything good about free rolls on on CC.

But I agree, with knowing only what we know from what you explained about the hand, I feel you played it right too. His bad play did get rewarded. Something that happens way too much in free rolls.

But 7th place is no easy task no matter how you look at it, so you were probably playing good. Congrats!!

money was in with the best hand is all you can do the rest is up to the luck of cards math will win in the end and well done on your win......always remember you get a break or 2 to get that far
and usually someone else gets one against you nothing you can do

i dont think there is much you can do i think he was going to follow all the way if he calls the flop then maybe a value bet would work on 4th street to evaluate your position in the hand but cant stop a chaser and poker is poker play your cards congrats on the success 1 month and a final table wow!!!

Lets get right down to it you lost to a Donk! You played it right trying to get the maximum chips from a solid hand and you lost to a DONK. If someone made a strong bet I know they have pockets and fold. Definatly if I have A 9 offsuit and didnt hit on the flop. The guy was a DONK.
