Never regged at FT, but had this discussion with a site in the Cake network some days ago.

Please wait for a site operator to respond. You are currently customer 1 in queue. Thank you for your patience.
Hello, my name is Adam Fischer. How may I help you today?
t1: Hiya
t1: just tried to log in at Linesmaker but couldn't. Clicked for new password but it says that my account has been disabled.
t1: Why is that?
Adam Fischer: The account was close a per management decision.
t1: Why is that?
Adam Fischer: Sorry for that, but there's no specific reason, the account will remain close.
t1: If management has taken this decision, there must be a reason for it.
t1: Someone there must know the reason
Adam Fischer: It is a management decision to close your account and that's final.
t1: Who is 'management' then? Who can I contact to find out the reason for the closure?
t1: Please give me an email address to the individual in charge.
Adam Fischer: As I told you, your account will remain close and as per house rules "The decisions of the Management will be final and binding in all matters between Linesmaker.com and members. "
t1: What is the Rule which lead to this decision?
t1: What rule has been broken?
Adam Fischer: I am really sorry, but your account will remain close.
t1: Why?
t1: It seems very unreasonable to me aht you cannot tell me what rule has been broken, and the reason for closure of the account.
Adam Fischer: That is a management decision, as I told that's final.
t1: Unbelievable
t1: You cannot give me a reason fo it?
t1: What rule has been broken?
Adam Fischer: A reason has not been given nor are we obliged to provide one. Management’s decision is final on this matter.
t1: Obliged or not, it is simply good customer service to do so!
t1: And you refuse to refer me to someone else, someone in charge, who can explain the matter?
Adam Fischer: Sir, there's no reason provided by management.
t1: Who can I contact to find out he reason?
Adam Fischer: There's no one who will give you details about this matter, I really apologize with you, but this is final.
t1: Someone there must have taken the decision. Who is that person so I can contact them directly?
Adam Fischer: Management will not disclose any information regarding this decision. Your account will be permanently closed.
t1: Any decision by management that can be justified by facts can easily be accepted. This total lack if disclosure, and refusal by support to assist in finding out the facts, is not acceptable by any standard.
t1: I will be posting this chat in several poker fora, and will defintely recommend against registering at your site.
t1: This is probably the worst customer service I have ever encountered.
Adam Fischer: For security reasons we reserve our right to not make that information available. We do apologize if this causes you an inconvenience, however the outcome will not change.
t1: What possible security issues can there be in this matter? That is rediculous!
Adam Fischer: Well as a matter of fact they can be very extent and complex. There is nothing left to add to this topic unfortunately. The decision is final.
t1: Rediculous
t1: Goodbye
Adam Fischer: Thanks for chatting.

Most sites only allow one account per household. I found this out when I got my lap top and my husband was playing on the house computer. At Bodog they just blocked us from playing at same tables but did say they were making the exception by letting us both have an account.

Full Tilt Poker are a little strange and are a law unto themselves. Closing accounts and not supplying reasons is bad enough. But did they also confiscate any funds?

Doesn't really make you want to deposit there. I did once but it took them several weeks to make a payment to me when I requested it.

PokerStars allows multiple accounts per household, they just can't play at the same table. My wife and I both have accounts and haven't had an issue.

Bummer man, were you logged in with two accounts playing on the same table or in a tourney? Otherwise I don't see why they would flat out ban ya.

Haven't checked FT's, but many sites have it clearly stated in their Terms of Service that decisons are final and will not be discussed. As noted in many previous threads, it is best to write to a site FIRST and ASK about multiple accounts in one household BEFORE doing it.

People usually do not read the ToS they are acknowledging when they register. It pays to read - FIRST. A lot of B.S., but worth reading. They are the rules - that you AGREED to when you registered.

Not unlike the sub-prime mortgage foreclosure crisis in the U.S. Buyers signed up quickly for the $100 payments on million dollar homes, not reading the fine print that payments would rise to unpayable levels. Sometimes our instant gratification society isn't all it's cracked up to be. Sorry to hear of your troubles.

BTW - 2 of us here have accounts at the same sites, but we wrote them first and have never had any problems.

A 'chat ban',.. lol,.. hardly comparable to what they guy's expressing in this thread. I think I've had my chat banned on every site, lol,.. back when I felt it necessary to educate others on how to play, lol (like tryin' to teach a cat to bark,.. and why would I not want them to continue makin' loose calls with terrible odds??).

Bummer about getting banned from site. Sorry to hear about that. Maybe a good warning for others.
