BAD BEAT ON TONIGHTS FREEROLL

man!!!!!! just suffered a really bad beat there in the tourney.....was all in against the chip leader bryan something...i was lying 16th.....i had Qh 10h....flop came Kh Ah 2d....short stack wernt all in.. then bryan (something) went all in 12000.....i had 8500....i thought i had to call...in hindsight maybe not.........anyhow small stack had terrible hand....bryan (something) had k 2....two pair.......i was hoping for a heart....turn helped nobody........,,,,,the river brought a heart...lol....but it was a bloody 2 giving bryan (something) a full house...i was sick because i thought i was playing quite solid and fancied myself to hit the final table.....but no........onwards and upwards.....Aidan (belfast,ireland)....PokerStars any views on whether or not i should have folded

how much was in the pot to begin with? also, how many were left in the tournament, were you in the money already? on the bubble? i think all those facts matter, right? but i think either way, given that you were on the draw, folding certainly is a viable option. i'm not sure i'd call it a bad beat either, since he was ahead of you with 2 pair the whole way.

well if u think about it; it really wasnt considered a "bad beat". his hand (bryan something) was the best and u simply had a huge draw! i would have gone in with ur hand too, but i am just saying that it wasnt a "bad beat". maybe a "bad way to make ur flush beat" but not a "bad beat"! good luck in the future! u play good and will do great in tournies to come. i have railed u a couple of times and watched ur play. very good. great table image! keep it up!

lmao r u a donk? that bryan something was protecting his hand from donks like u..and ic how he became the chip leader and u shoud have never chased for yr whole stack anyways. i understand if he was betting small and letting u chase but when someone is all in.

well, it happen aleady...thats one thing,i think if i was in that far in the game (16thplace), and i was chasing small bets, and then he slams all in,i would start seeing red flags, and pull out...take my loses and regroup,

Well with a flop like that you should of know you had to hit a J (for straight) or heart (for flush).

You should of figured you were around 30% to win the pot... But it's very tough to get away from.

I would of called, it wasn't a bad call, I guess it was just unlucky.

when short stack goes all in, it is usually a move of desperation..but when chip lead raises that...i get the impression he is trying to chase others away..if i was that bryan guy..i would have kept placing small bets.
Oh and for the record i would have not called...the chance of him having a better hand then you was way to high.

What was your goal again?

I your goal was to make the final table you should have folded the hand.
When SS went all in followed by Brian, that was a tell that he had good cards. Remember you are trying to make the final table. FOLD the hand and what for the next deal, plus you have no cards to go all in with. Check out your hand, you are on a draw, you don't have a made hand. In think you made a bad move. Think about it you went all in on a hope, a dream, a wish. Never Ever Ever do that late in a tournament because you will always lose to a made hand.
