Aruba Freerolls Dropped

I'm disappointed to report that Ultimate Bet has dropped its freeroll tourneys related to the September WPT event in Aruba. What was a really cool freeroll opportunity evaporates without warning. Ultimatebet had been running daily freeroll qualifiers which gave 50 players a seat into a Sunday weekly event, which in turn dropped 100 players into the monthly final. The Aruba promotion will continue for the next few months, but only for real money satellites and tourneys. No more Aruba freerolls are planned at this time. They "apologize for any inconvenience this has caused."

UltimateBetUltimate Bet are one of the older poker sites on the internet with a great range of games to play and a 111% poker bonus with the bonus code CARDSCHAT.

PokerStarsPokerStars is one of the best poker sites on the internet. They accept US players and using PokerStars marketing code CARDSCHAT you get a $75 bonus.

Not to be argumentative, but these Aruba freerolls only ran for two weeks. There are still two full weeks remaining before the May 7th freeroll final. The only explanation given by Ultimatebet customer support when I pressed for one was, "It was a management decision." That indicates to me that the freerolls did not end on the original timeline, but were prematurely aborted. I'd love to know why. Prior to today's weekly final, there are only 100 registered finalists. That means only 200 seats will be filled for the finals. Plenty of room for more, so overcrowding isn't an issue. And the daily qualifiers usually saw 1500 to 2500 participants, so it wasn't a lack of response. Spilt milk, I suppose, but I wish I had a contact at UB beyond the support team, which is a brick wall.

a bit lucky for me...

That is junk that they got rid of them, but it's actually a good thing for me. With only 200 players in the field I'll have a better shot at winning the tournament and heading to Aruba. Wish me luck!

and they just did the exact same thing with the TV tourney freeroll promo. they papered the internet over with ads, then disconnected the freeroll sats barely a week or so into the promotion. now you can buy into the $5 sats to qualify.
very clever, isnt it? sucker them by promoting a freeroll to your big event, and then once they sign up, pull the plug so theyre tempted to deposit to play the real money sat structure.
repeat process as needed.
i admit i only downloaded Ultimatebet to give it a shot for aruba later on this summer, after the WSOP (the $3 sats, not the freerolls), but with every canceled major freeroll promo, they're losing more and more of their credibility in my eyes.
