Appropriate?
I have some information about some freerolls, but, it's from a radio station. Just wanted to know if it's ok to inform you about it in the open forum because it involves a radio station. If it's ok, then maybe it would be a new source for everyone.

Not appropriate unless it is freeroll sonsored by either CC or the gaming site (such as Full Tilt, Poker Stars etc.). Anything else will awaken the Ban Hammer and you sure don't want that to happen.

I found this info in a newsletter from Rounders radio. They have freerolls listed from some of the sites that are listed in the forum. Is it ok to let people know about this in the forums(just tell them where to find it) or give the info to someone from CC.

Several folks here are also members (and listeners) of Rounders Radio. It's a great Internet radio site and has lots of good programming on it (both poker and music). So, it's not much of a "new source" as you might think.
As they are not directly related to CardsChat, I don't think it would be appropriate to post the tournament schedule. Rounders also sponsors tournaments with poker sites that are not formally recognized by CardsChat (favored?). |

Posting upcoming tournaments in the Get a game going section is fine as long as no passwords are posted. I know that defeats the purpose of posting them, but that's all that would be acceptable really. Besides, Wade still owes me money the cheap rat.
