I was scheduled to play in three tourneys this afternoon one of which was the cardschat freeroll. My mother's car broke down and left her stranded and I had to go get her. She was upset and I rushed out of the house to get her. I didn't take the time to unregister like I normally would if I can't play. It's no fun to play at a table when half the people are sitting out, it makes for easy chips but it's not much fun. I realize this, so to those that sat at my tables, I apologize.
By the time I got back home, I was out of the first two tourneys. The last one, the however, the cardschat freeroll, was just going on the first break. The big blind was at 120 and I had only 420 left in chips. I made the best of it and with some good plays and a little luck, I finished 23rd out of a field of 900 and made some pocket change. A pretty good showing all things considered. It goes to show that its true, all you need is a chip and a chair. Heck, I'm such a poker fan, I'd stand if I had to.
