500K playchips FullTilt freeroll

I found out about this tournaments the other days.

To get in you need 500.000 play chips and it's a $40 freeroll. I know it's very little, but the first 18 get paid, and when you have around 30-35 players, it's quite easy to get into the money, which may not be much, but when you're broke, like i am, any amount is good.

My account was under a dollar ( a bad week ), I got $2 at that small tourney and today it's up to $15.

I'm saying all this because i find this way of getting some $ much easier than joining a 2700 freerolll where you'll get almost the same amount, playing against x100 the number of players and spending 5 or 6 hours extra.

Hope this can be of any help for those that are broke.

Nice one coljung, i think that would be a great way to build a decent bank roll from play money chips.
It goes one better than starting from freerolls to build a roll.
I would love to see you posting in the near future that you have like 100/200 bucks from this endeavor.
Good luck.

what i did was begin playing 10000 playchips sng, then i moved to 100000 sng and in less than a day i was at around 700000 chips.

then the at freeroll its quite easy to cash in, given that there's around 35 players, and the top 18 get cash,so just play tight and wait.

It is nice to get confirmation on these opportunities. Prior to this I had heard rumors. There also might be another opportunity when you get to 1 mil, also a rumor until verified.

Question, is it a one time thing, or are these available all the time to anyone with 1/2 mil play balance?

I'm close enough to probably get there in a few hours if I concentrated.

I don't recommend this freeroll much. I've done it before. It takes ages to get to 500k and then all u get is a measly $2 which will all go if u get unlucky in a $1 sng. Much better to get 1 million chips on pokerstars and sell them for $10 than this.

i dont know, i played once and i got my $2, went right away to a 9 person $1 SnG and won $ 4.50 . Since then i've been slowly building back my bankroll ( very slowly). I got to $15 today.

And yes, this tourneys happen once a day, i think at 20:40.

Also, i understand time to get to 500K, but i rather try $2, than have a few million of playchips.

Btw, these tourneys are very small, i played once, and saw it another days, and both times there were less than 35 entrants, with 18 getting into the $. Pretty easy i think.

I don't see this tournament on the list. Is it only shown to players over 500K chips? What day is it done on?

if you look at the payout of the freeroll, the 1st Place gets $5.
Therefore if u win it twice, it'll cost u 1million playmoney for $10.
Isn't that the same as selling 1million playmoney @ $10 the same?
But in the end, the decision is all up to you.

btw, i've decide to build my first million of playmoney at PokerStars.

Sounds like a good option, although it will take a few months to get to 500k in play chips.

I might give it a try. But it doesnt sound worth it. I mean building up 500K play chips to enter a $40 freeroll?

I think it would be a better idea to just do it with the play chips.
First of all, not as many people, easier to win.
Second, it doesnt take 6 hours to win a lousy 15 dollars.
I had 4 million play chips in my account, but never knew about the play chips freeroll, now i have none. Got to try and get them back up there.
