You got to laugh at this

Last night (well afternoon for you guys) i was online at our local poker site in South Africa - Freeroll SNG. Kept getting killed by bad beats so i called it quits but left the lobby open.

My son (10) has been watching me play for about 6 months now and joined a tournament. An hour later I found him still in and positioned 32 out of 650 players with 128 left in the tournament. Obviously he shouldn't have been playing but he thought it was like poker on the PS and was playing against the computer.

But this just goes to show how a complete novice can place well in the freerolls relying mostly on luck.

He eventually busted out in 112 place.

Good for him LOL....yes it does prove that luck is a huge part of poker

hey, maybe your son is just a phenom. buy him into the sunday million and see what happens

cool ... get him trained up & one day he might win the WSOP main event ... & look after his old dad, who taught him everything he knows

that is funny... mine is 19 tried to teach her for ever...but she dont just want any thing to do 2 with it...i guess one gambler in the house is good enough hehehe...maybe he can give her some tips lol
