WWYD? Hi, I was playing a NL .02/.05 today and I got the rockets. Now something was weird at my table because there was a guy with 50$ at the table who just kept playing like crazy and there was this other guy who barely had 3 bucks who did the same. I'm the button and get the aces, the big stack raises 10 times the blind and the other loose guy decides to call. I only had about 4$ at the table and I wanted to make as most as possible knowing the big stack would never fold. So I decide to raise it up to 2$ and eventually the guy with too much money calls but the loose guy decides to shove all his chips in. Basically everything I wanted work because I was putting them on low cards. Eventually the showdown comes and my aces were cracked by q-6 from the guy with 3 bucks because he made two pairs at the river. I usually don't think it twice with AA but I've had it 3 times today and all three times it got cracked by some stupid errors from my opponent's side. I realized that when my buy-in at the table is at stake, is it really worth playing the pot even if I had AA? I mean AA is a big favorite but not a sure win so if I was playing at a table with a full bankroll (luckily it was only part of it) and got AA on the button would it be worth it to go all in knowing there are at least 2 other players that already are? Let me know what you think maybe It'll help me in my decisions.

If we back up just a second... while nobody can tell you how to spend your money, you probably shouldn't be sitting down at any table with your full bankroll unless you're looking to lose it. Now - against those kind of opponents, if you've got doubts that you can't beat them when you're holding AA pre-flop, you've got to ask yourself what hands you could possibly be happier holding. If you don't have an answer for that, I'd say you should probably be moving tables. Sure, suckouts happen and they're part of the game (and the reason why we don't want to sit down with our entire bankroll), but AA pre-flop should be about as good as things get. The only thing I'd have done differently is just to push all-in as soon as the action got to you. AA is a bigger favourite against one opponent than it is against two, and hopefully the smaller stack will fold if you push before he gets the chance. Did you just call the $3 stack's raise, BTW, or did you go over the top for the rest of your money?

Hey Oz, Thx for the tip. To answer your last question, I didn't go all in and I don't remember why but I just called figuring either way the other guy's not going to fold for another buck so it's going to be all-in later. Maybe I should have shoved my chips in after the first raise but let's say i got a big greedy. At least it give me a better perspective and well It sucks to lose 4$ but I still have some roll left in me :P. L
