because Muppet No.1 sees his suited cards and thinks, wow, great hand, and Muppet No.2 sees the action in front of him and remembers his K7os winning a big hand a long time ago and decides it's gonna happen again.
And both of them have absolutely no respect for your raise, why would they at that level(which is also my level)

Why would you want to race for all of your chips with AKo in a multiway pot against two gamblers this early in the SNG? I say cut your losses and hope that the table is about to go 8-handed.

This is exactly why I never raise preflop in the first two blind levels in these micros, unless I have a hand I'm willing to go all-in with preflop. These donks see any bet as a chance to show what they're made of, and attempt to steal. They don't care what they are holding, or what you are holding, they just see the money in the pot and they want an early lead.

By 25/50, these guys are usually out, so you can start playing properly.

WTF seems standard to me lately

I keep running into this crap too. I am at least learning to let go of my cards and let the knuckle heads have at each other. It seems like when ever i do have a hand to go up against one of them later on they actually have a hand and/or I get flop screwed. Oh well, "that's poker" especially at the levels I play.

The buy in is one dollar. I think that explains it.

It's a double edged sword, these are the levels I play at too,how are you supposed to get better at the game, trying to read what other players are holding etc, when you come up against play like this, but then again, they can't get lucky with the flop all the time.

I just checked OPR and K7o is a DONK that does not want to learn. LOTS of tourneys played and a rating under 3 ! He obviously plays just for fun. 8 5 suited looks like he just started - so right now he is a FISH.

This kind of brings up an interesting question; has anyone gone through the OPR and label the DONKS/FISH in PS and FT and when a tourney has a particularly high DONK/FISH quota - play the tourneys.

That is what I was thinking. Not that good players cant be in the smaller tourneys, just that most people look at it like "its only a buck". That is half the reason for the maniacal runs early on in the smaller tourneys. It is interesting though, because I played the Million a few times where I saw much the same type of plays...

probably donk and a fish but in $1 sng would have pushed all in preflop, higher levels maybe fold but would never have called
