Here's this year's payout structure - Pay to 560 place! You freerollers... think you might be in the money? It might be worth the $10,000 entry fee. And it sure is something to shoot for.

I want to go to WSOP someday, but I rather play a $100 satililite to get in. Just a better value.

If I was in the tournament this year, I probably could've monied. But live real money poker is a lot different than freerolls.

Was supposed to say Hand

Isn't the idea of playing poker to go up against the best and win?

would like to be in the WSOP>>i think i could make it to the top 10%. i usually make it to the top 10 percent if there are over 500 players in it. on the forum challenge i think there were about 1500 players and i finished 45th. As long as i dont do anything stupid im ok, but lately ive been making mistakes and that hurts my game.>>> buckster436

The level of play in freerolls and $10 buy-in tournaments online are NOTHING compared to the WSOP. While it is possible to cash, it IS not as easy as coming in 45th out of 1500 people online.

Personally, I plan to play in the WSOP sometime before I die...

I'm thinking that 45th/1500 in a forum challenge is about equivolent to 9500th/10,000 on the WSOP. If you hope to even think about placing in the top 10%, you better be getting top 2 or 3 in every one of those 1500 player forum challenges

Hi - There were 5,619 entrants so apply the math to that Crippler.

I placed in the top 50 of a 4000 entrants, but play ceased when we reached 50 so I don't know how far I would have gone. I'm not sure I could play for days and days though. It would not only be a mind thing with the cards but also trying not to fall asleep or play with little sleep.

Let's all make a pact that at least some of us will be playing in next year's WSOP. It sure would be fun to go and watch if we aren't playing!

OK, online tournaments are NOTHING compared to the WSOP.

You have a legitimate shot to place in the money if you consistently cash and make final tables in the big buy-in tournaments online $50 and up...

I dont want to hear any of this about placing in the top 1% or whatever of some goofy freeroll or dinky little tournament, that means absolutely nothing if you played in the WSOP.
