WSOP 2009 Main Event Final Table - Your Pick
It's getting close to WSOP Final table crunch time and I am extremely excited to see how this goes.
I really hope Phil Ivey wins, he sure deserves it - he is an excellent player and one of the greatest ambassadors for poker + awesome entertainment on Poker After Dark. Who do you want to win and why? |

re: WSOP 2009 Main Event Final Table - Your Pick poker
I want james 'sick dog' akenhead to win this. I want to see a brit win the WSOP ME. I think it'll b like bringing home the world cup trophy lol. But he's short stacked so he's got alot of work to do, but he's good enough to buckle up and go 4 the win!
If not james akenhead i'd have to put my money on Ivey bcos he's such a great poker player. |

Ivey winning would do a ton for the poker community. It would show people that it takes skill as well as luck to be competitive.
This should bring much better arguements when relating to how poker should be considered more then just gambling. |

I'm definitely hoping Ivey wins, but after that I want any of the better players to win. I don't get why people want to see bad players win just because they are nice people. Moon is already a millionare, i don't want a fish with the title.

I'd prefer Ivey to win as I'd make $140 off of it. But if not him, then probably Begs.
I don't know why people are comparing Darvin Moon to Dennis Phillips. Yes, they were both chip leaders going into the FT, but Phillips is way more likable and has more of a personality than Moon. Plus Phillips got the whole concept of being an ambassador for poker. Something Moon wants nothing to be apart of. |

Nick, I think if Ivey wins it will be the last piece of his puzzle he has been looking for for quite some time. It will solidify many observers claim that he could be argued to be the best ever. If he plays his usual best, he will be very tough to beat.
I can't wait to watch. |
