I really hope Phil Ivey wins, he sure deserves it - he is an excellent player and one of the greatest ambassadors for poker + awesome entertainment on Poker After Dark.

Anyone but Jeff Schulman. He's such a hypocrite.

Phil Ivey is an obvious choice to take it down, I don't remember who else is on there though.

Western Maryland!

This guy named MOON was high-lighted on the front page of the Washington Post...seems very down to earth and a nice guy...I'll be routing for him!

Definitely want Ivey to win. I've always liked his attitude and the way he plays, and he has been my favorite player since I first got into poker.

Moon is a great player and a really nice average guy. Reminds me of Phillips from last year. Ivey is the other obvious choice but is short stacked and Mooon is playing solid big stack poker.

re: WSOP 2009 Main Event Final Table - Your Pick poker

I want james 'sick dog' akenhead to win this. I want to see a brit win the WSOP ME. I think it'll b like bringing home the world cup trophy lol. But he's short stacked so he's got alot of work to do, but he's good enough to buckle up and go 4 the win!
If not james akenhead i'd have to put my money on Ivey bcos he's such a great poker player.

Ivey all the way! He is a good ambassador for poker (although he's a bit shy around the cameras), you don't see him tilting, he is a good role model, etc;

Ivey winning would do a ton for the poker community. It would show people that it takes skill as well as luck to be competitive.

This should bring much better arguements when relating to how poker should be considered more then just gambling.

I played with Jeff Schulman on Day 6, he is solid. Ivey is always awesome. I dont think Moon can do it. And my dark horse is James Akenhead

I'm definitely hoping Ivey wins, but after that I want any of the better players to win. I don't get why people want to see bad players win just because they are nice people. Moon is already a millionare, i don't want a fish with the title.

I'd prefer Ivey to win as I'd make $140 off of it. But if not him, then probably Begs.

I don't know why people are comparing Darvin Moon to Dennis Phillips. Yes, they were both chip leaders going into the FT, but Phillips is way more likable and has more of a personality than Moon. Plus Phillips got the whole concept of being an ambassador for poker. Something Moon wants nothing to be apart of.

Nick, I think if Ivey wins it will be the last piece of his puzzle he has been looking for for quite some time. It will solidify many observers claim that he could be argued to be the best ever. If he plays his usual best, he will be very tough to beat.

I can't wait to watch.

Ivey is who I will be rooting for as of right now, but as the episodes keep airing on TV I might find a character that captures my heart.

he does have the chip lead but I'm sure he'll start playing to many hands or make crazy raises and lose it all.

Yea he says he will throw the bracelet in the garbage because the WSoP won't use his magazine or something childish like that I hope he slips in a coma for the 2 days the final table runs.
