Actually the buy in is a total of $9,200 USD. $10K CD + $300 CD. I had my choice when I won a $12K package on Paradsise Poker. I choose the Legends but am going to try for the Fallsview also.

Sorry I didn't see. I had my choice of the Legends next week or the NA Championship. I took the Legends because the Bike is 25 miles from me. I am playing satellites for the Fallsview though, hope to meet you there :)

going to the satellites

i'm going to try qualifiying through one of the satellites. Looking at the blind structure and the starting chips stacks, doesn't look like there is much time to wait for a hand?? can you guys tell me how strong the competition is in these satellites? I only play 10$ and 20$ sng and some mtts online(I do pretty well) and this will be my first dip into live play. Am I a fish who is going to get eaten alive?? Thanks

If your bankroll can afford to lose a few times then you should go and get the experience and maybe you will win a seat. If your bankroll cant afford it then dont go. I wouldnt say youre a fish, but there will be more experienced players there and you need to pay attention more often.

Thanks,
I'm going to go give it a shot on Monday, see how it goes, it definitely will be a good experience, though I hate the structure(blinds/chip stacks) for the first qualifier
