Wow. Talk about a lucky 2 hours

it was a strange phenomina, such good luck pouring on me. First hand went like this (sorry guys, i didn't get my hand history or anything like that)

Me on the button with 9Th BB AKs guy in third position QQ. AKs and QQ both slow play and i raise with a suited connector, get called. Flop comes AQ9 - bet call, i call. Turn comes 9. AK checks, QQ bets i raise AK reraises QQ folds I call. River comes 9. AK bets, I raise, AK reraises, I cap it. He turns over AK i turn over 9Th. I win.


not even half an hour later me and the BB guy are in another pot. I never saw his hand so i cna only give partial information: Him raise preflop me in late position calls with 78d. Flop comes 888. He bets into me, i raise he reraises i call. (i assume he had a high pocketpair) Turn coems 7, (lol adding salt to the wound as I hit quads and second pair) he bets into me AGAIN and AGAIN its capped. River comes Q he checks i bet he raises i raise he calls, i show 78 he mucks.

about 1 hour later i'm dealt KTo in the blind. Its not been raised so i limp in. The flop is TJQ of hearts. I have the King. I say to my girlfriend "wouldn't it be nice if hte A came on the turn?" The bettign goes me bet, raise behind me (he made the flush on the flop) me call. Two players left. A comes on the turn. I made royal flush. I bet, raise behind me, reraise call. Garbage on the river, capped betting, i show the king and he mucks. In 2 hours time i make 2 sets of quads and a royal flush. Talk about lucky.

Surely third position QQ folded on the river, not on the turn?

actually, no. I mistyped the board it was AK9 not AQ9.

It's hard to believe stories like that, but I've seen some crazy stuff myself.

I was playing a heads-up game on pokerstars and got 4 different quads vs the same person over the course of about a half hour... was nuts.
