Wow....

I had 2k chips after the first few hands of the tournament and had to leave for 15 minutes (the $3.30 shootout, 5min blinds) it was only in the 2nd level blinds when I left, I come back and I finished in 281 first place......wtf?! How'd I get blinded out so quickly?

5 minute blinds people push over and over so the hands are dealt faster, the faster hands are dealt the faster the big blind gets to you.

check your game history. this happened 2 me b4 i never knew why but was a freeroll had 2 restart my comp froze i was thinking i was put out cause i wasnt in my seat when it switched 2 level 2 dunno, was bummed i had like 5,000 in chips so it made no sense

believe me, so many people are sitting out at the beginning that I don't think they all said, "hey look lets blind this guy out."

did everyone miss the word 'shootout'?

everyone probably donked their chips off quickly (it's a $3 turbo donkament after all) leaving you and some other guy HU at your first table, and he proceeded to quickly take your blinds, eliminating you.

If you were gone for 15 minutes and there were 5 minute blinds, how could it still be on level 2?

This wasn't a freeroll / play money chips. No one at my table was sitting out.
