depends if on PS hit the 10cent 180 man sit n gos till you have at least 20 $, on FTP try to play all the private freerolls and play the 10 cent . 50cent rebuy but i would stick with FR on FTP to many donks at the lower lvls and variance is a bitch also at that stage

40*$1.15 = $46.00 and 23*$2.00=$46.00 turbo's are 1+.1 so break even is 11 of 20 .... 11*$2.00 and 20*$1.10 |

re: Would you risk it? poker Definitely go with the low stakes and the slow build. If you are down to this level there's probably some issues with your game. The low stakes will give you time to work some of these out and do it at lower stakes.

I am working on that very topic. I was down to 3.75 I built it up to 9 by playing 1 sng, 9 players. I am creating my bankroll structure for playing using gudelines from the players here. A number suggested around 30 buyins for the games I most like to play. So I relaoded for 100 dollars and am playing the 1 to 3 tournaments....and mainly the 1 tournaments. I chose 100.00 because it feels like a challenge to me to build it bigger. Today I won 9.22 in a 3 game, made it to 18th (I think) out of 322....it felt like a gigantic win, because of my goal....off to try again. Just becoming a member here and reading the posts and stategy guides here has already helped. It's helps keep me grounded. I wish you well whatever you choose.

High stakes ot low stake huh? With a bankroll that low you should definitely do lots of private freerolls (as many as possible), low stake microgrinding with minimum buy ins and no rebuys and leave the minute you make a profit, and last but not least minimum risk maximum profit $1 SnG tournys. I would suggest 9 - 45 players. This is how my wife and I built our bankroll we have yet to deposit. Be forwarned it IS a long and hard journey. Zippy

I live this. I've milked a $10 stake that turned into an $84 cash in one tournament almost a year ago now. The first six months I squandered it on any tournament I wanted to play, and ran it down to under $10 about six months ago. Since then, I've done exactly what folks in this thread have suggested. Hit every +EV freeroll (made $5+ today) and grind the micro stakes (some 1/2NL ring, no tournies greater than 2+.2). I'm not back to where I want to be just yet. I keep bouncing around $20-25 BR. I've cut it in half because I want to take a big shot at the PS world record 500K next weekend. But other than that, its been a grind. Stick to the program, and if you play well, you should be able to bring it back up.

re: Would you risk it? poker I'd have to agree with jazz. Grind it out and hit the freerolls and small buyins and slowly build your pot back to where you would like to have it. Unless you have the money to deposit, just take it slow and easy.

Play the 1NL or 2NL tables if they're availabe. These are pretty easy to make money on even though the variance is high, because the amount of donks is huge. Grind those out until you have enough to move up to the next level, if you don't feel like grinding the small limits just play some lower stake tournys.

I'd go for letter A cuzz you don't want to loose it all if you can play poker longer and still bring up your bankroll but slowly i guess that would be better cuzz poker is about having fun no matter if your in 5 cents blinds or 1000 dollar blinds.

The best place too go with 10 bucks i would say Sit N go's. Sit and go 6 man, not the 10 man and they start as low as $2 and you can win up to areound 8 bucks. Even though i love ring games, you are taking too big of a chance of going bankrupt quicker. If you play one 2$ sit n go and win, you are right back up there, with momentum too
