Would you play a ring game where there is a pro ... Would you play a ring game where there is a pro thayt drops in every now and then. I sat in on a table on fulltilt where it says that a red player(pro) will sometimes be tutoring lessons on theis table and the play may be recorded(omaha hi-lo 50-1$). I played for a while then got out..I felt the man was being backed by fulltilt hence having an unlimited br...I know this is not possible it was just how I felt.

And yeah, I've played with a few pros before, and I'd do it again. They tend to attract fish, and often they're not very good themselves. |

Why wouldnt you want to play with a Pro? Is the question I would ask. Maybe you might learn something or really test yourself. You cannot get better beating bad players all of the time. You dont need to be the best player at any table just better then enough of the folks to make some money.

YES! I would love to play with a pro and get to chat with them while playing... obviously they dont listen to rail players... the only thing is watching some of the big time pros in FT they are nuts with their money... but it seems the smaller players are good and don't donk off chips

I played in a 5.50 36 man heads up tourney almost two years ago and went against Chris Moneymaker on the last table and beat him. He called every ace he had. In the end my ak against his ace10 was good. In fairness in the match i recieved quad tens to his boat so couldnt really blame him. Other than that its really the only time ive played with a pro. If i had the roll on tilt ill tell you who i would love to play Durrrr I know everyone on every site thinks this guy is god, and i also know most think iam a garbage player but Iam absolutely sure heads up with the roll id give that donkass a run for his money. Only call him a donkass not because hes a winning player but if u watch his heads up matches he plays absolutely out of control cards

Playing against an unlimited bankroll is a good thing. The fact the he is a pro is a bad thing, as it means he's a good player and you want to play against as many bad players as possible. You will not learn a lot against a pro in one session. Metagame-wise, I wonder what the return would be if you played like a complete idiot if you knew that the video was going to be shown to people learning poker? I know when I started watching videos, I'd search out the donks I saw in videos. So losing a couple buy-ins in the video could send waves of people to your tables who have seen that you like to stack with second pair and stone cold bluffs.

dont get to big-headed when i say this but out of all the responses to this question, your makes the most sense. play loose and crazy, lose some money. and when the fish come bitting, bite back. imo its freakin genius. i would have never thought to approach it this way. |

re: Would you play a ring game where there is a pro ... poker I have played with several pros online... in the mid to low stakes cash games... and I have also been on a few tournaments sitting at the same table as a few pros... they are human, not machines.. and yes they might play a little better then you... but it's a great place to learn how the pros play and adjust your play... if the pro is playing only on that one table... then he is playing very Aggressive... and playing more the situation then his cards... if he is playing more then 2 or 3 tables at the same time... this guy is a pro that is playing the cards... and not the situation... Best you can do is play your best game... Best of luck at the tables ;-)

playing a pro is what you want to do...did you get nervous? As far as thinking fulltilt would cheat or as you say (back) thats not benifical to them trust me they make to much money for that sort of nonsense. Just my opinion tho....i guess strange things have happend before.

I've never played against a pro, but I would if given the opportunity, just to watch how they play a given hand, I've watched on some of the teaching sites how they play hands, ultra aggressive, yep they play the table not their cards more then I do, but it would be fun just to play in a game with a pro, I wouldn't change my game I'd play the same. I tried playing that style seems I get thru 3/4 of the field then I donk out, can't play to aggressive when the quality of play starts getting better
