Worst Hand that "seems" a great hand

I am just wondering what poker players are getting that seems such a great hand pf and beyond that gets cracked most of the time. Mine is QQ. I played yesterday in the gals freeroll game and folded QQ 6 times just because they seem to be the kiss of death to me. All 6 times by the river I would have lost to them even when I would have flopped a set on one hand. I played in the cc Pokerstars game today and felt badly about raising them AI after a comment. I was defensive about it since they seem to be great pf but then get busted everytime. I again played them in the FT game and guess what? My QQ were again busted with a flush draw. Does anyone else have what seems to be a good hand pf that gets busted or is it just me??? Do I need to just fold them each and everytime because they are the kiss of death? I have slow played them, raised all in with them, bet xBB with them, and still.....they never win. Please don't tell me it is just poker...I really do understand this concept. However, what is up with QQ and me?

do you have poker tracker cause i would be willing to bet that you win with them more times then you think you just dont remember the wins. i personally after just over 10,000 hands qq is my in my top 5 best hands by bb/100 i am not currently at home so i cant give you exact stats, but i would like more proof other then the last 6 times i had it i lost. but as far as playing them poker is a situational game no one can tell you how to correctley play them because that should be determaned by the way your table plays all i can say is work on your thought process through a hand to help you bet the right amounts based on the hand range that your opponent has. Poker is situational thier is no magic way to play

JJ, I am very leary of Jacks, good enough to bet, but scary, and nomatter how i play them, there is always an over, and even if not, i have been busted out when i fill up on the flop (from the button) with them, imagine........JJ vs ??........(flop j 3 3) ?? bets min. bet, I call....(turn, 10-rainbow) ?? bets 3xmin, I push, He quick calls, river didn't matter, ??=33 in the hole, I was sick, only player at the table who had me covered. I HATE JJ

I see a lot of peopl overplaying AQ. Its a pretty bad hand, especially with a raise, re-raise in the hand.

my kiss of death hand is got to be 10/8s or 10/7s, I personally am a junkie for sc'ers and i'm not going to lie that's my biggest flaw in this game, cuz when I flop big with these bs hands, I end up getting tunnel vision and then I just start wonderng "why did I ever call with that junk, why". Seriously, and AA has the same effect on me also

I keep track of my hands played and the last 10 times I have been dealt KK, I always raise with them, at least 4x BB, the flop has come with an Ace, 9 out of the last ten times.

Fortunately I have C-bet 6 times and still took down the pot with it. But it is starting to get spooky when I get KK.

I don't have a death hand, well at least I don't think so. Yet keep playing those QQ's aggresively and the odds will even out to where you are winning the majority with them, remember long term. There is a saying I remember somewhere, hold-em isn't just a game you are playing today/tommorow. It is a game that is going on forever, so if you are playing it forever, no reason to dwell on the past.

My death hand is AJ. It's not a top5 hand for sure but it might as well be a bottom5 hand. Even if you're ahead preflop nothing will make you happy on the flop unless you get two pair or a straight.

Yes mine is any 2 suited cards. For the last three or four months I have not had any chances at hitting a flush. Every time I play suited cards any other suit comes up. It has got to the point that I will not play them at all unless I am in the big blind and have to check if down.

AT and AJ, people just overplay these hands, call raises out of positsion and when the Ace hits the board, they just don't know where they are. might be front, might be behind.

Mine is QQ also. It just seems like I get straighted or flushed out of every hand I play these cards. I know that they are good cards, but I will toss them OOP most of the time. I guess I just don't like all the extra thinking involved with playing them.

KK for me but that is because as everyone knows, online poker is rigged.

I do not have a pokertracker but have realized I can win with KK as long as no ace hits the board so I am playing them more than I used to just fold if an ace hits and someone raises.

Small Pocket Pairs usually don't hold up for me. I'd say I get a 10% chance of winning if I get a small pocket pair.

My kiss of death seems to be AA on the first hand of any tournament. Maybe its brain death, but I don't ever seem to remember winning a hand when I get AA on the first hand.
