World Series of Poker Main Event on TV - ESPN

Recently I've become a bit of a poker on tv addict. Tonight I saw some WSOP main event on ESPN but it was from 2007.

Does anyone know when I can see the World Series of Poker main event from 2008 on TV? (Why the hell don't they broadcast live!)

Pacific PokerPacific Poker is the poker room for 888.com casino and is still a favourite, especially amongst new players. They recently updated their software with a sleek and smooth new look which is much better to play.

If they broadcast it live people could just go home and watch it and know exactly how other people are playing in certain spots. I don't think that would go over so well

Here is the schedule of when certain events will start showing on ESPN though.

Haha, great point Seany. It's just very frustrating to turn on ESPN and see them showing a WSOP Main Event... only to see '2007', doh!

2008 episodes start July 22. And then of course they'll show the Main Event ones to hype up the FT, showcasing the players who made it to the FT.

Last night I saw Jerry Yang go runner runner for a straight to avoid elimination, reminded me what a luckbox he really was.

Yes, ESPN has a 2 hour poker episode every Tuesday night starting on the 22nd of July, but it is not the Main Event, it's some of the other events. The schedule was posted on other well known poker sites.
