Wonder how much Super Bowl cost Pokerstars?
During a break in the action last night I logged into PS to see how many players were on the system and there were less than 70,000. It seems to me that's about 80,000 off normal for a Sunday evening at 830pm Eastern USA time.
Even when the game was over people didn't come back, at least not right away. Still around the 70,000 mark 20 minutes after the game. It would be interesting to know how much less PS revenue was than normal. |

There's a little under 70k now. Granted it's 10am EST, but 70k people playing on a poker site is still a lot (10,433 tables).

Well, with 80,000 people missing I'm sure there was a significant amount of money. Sure the main tournaments reached their break even points but the last Sunday Million had what, 1700 people vs 1200?
I suspect where they noticed the difference most was in the rake from the ring games. I wasn't saying PS was going to go broke or anything. Check next Sunday though and compare the overall number of people connected. |

The 50/50 on Full Tilt needs 1000 runners to hit their $50K guarantee, and last night only had 760. I'm sure it doesn't hurt them much financially, but that's some serious overlay for the players.
